Smooth, done quickly

Very nice family owned business.  I had 5 watches all that needed batteries and those were completed within 5 minutes while I waited.  I had a 6th watch that is very old and I had no ideal if it worked.  They helped to show me how to test if it works as it is an automatic watch and recommended I see if it keeps good time and calling manufacturer to see if I could get additional links for the band since it is to small.  If it works they recommended bringing back for cleaning and also would assist in finding a new band if necessary.  Extremely helpful and plan on returning for additional service.

The watches were ready before the promised time, the cost was very fair and the folks were very kind and polite.

This is a small family owned and run jewelry store for over 30 years. The wife is at the counter and is very cordial and friendly. Her husband does all the jewelry and watch work in the back. My watch battery was replaced immediately with no wait. I also discussed what I would need to do when my current leather watch band wears out. She assured me they would be able to help me when the time comes. I had a very pleasant chat with her before leaving.

Very experienced watch repairman, did his best and repaired 3 of the 5. The other 2 were not able to be repaired because the manufacturer of the watches would not sell him the parts

I would categorize this as outstanding service. In the past I had sent another Polar HR monitor back to "a factory authorized service center", paying $12 PLUS shipping and handling, only to have it stop working in 5 days. So much for a $175 HR monitor. Needless to say I was very disappointed. After several unsuccessful battery replacement attempt with a couple more Polar HR Monitors, I had all but given up battery replacement, concluding that these monitors were only good for the life of the original battery. Imagine my delight when Touch of Gold said they would warranty the battery replacement for one year. So far both heart rate monitors work fine and so does the Mickey Mouse Watch.

THE ARE VERY NICE AND IT IS FAMILY OWNED AND RUN. THEY COULD HAVE SAID IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE AND CHARGED ME MORE. THEY ALSO WARRANTY THE WORK INCLUDING THE BATTERY FOR ONE YEAR.
