He does an excellent job for us every time he does something for us. He's done a lot of work for us and the last time he was out he was taking care of trees. He replaced the roof on my studio for $12,000, but that was a couple of years ago. In fact, he's about the only one that I will use again.

Daniel the owner was very honest during the entire process and trustworthy. I would recommend and use again. He took care of me and even when issues arrived he told the truth. He also provides written quotes and checks the work performed himself when completed.

Daniel was a true professional and takes pride in his work. I had some initial concerns with how the vents and shingles around satellite dish were installed. Daniel made it a point to correct any issues/concerns I had. There was also some damage to my deck cover during the installation process. Daniel took care in fixing the damage the right way which exceeded my expectations. He also made it a point to stay after the work was complete to clean up anything this crew missed and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work done. I would highly recommend this company.

He did take pictures of things and showed them to me. The actual work was good, the communication was good and he did a good job. I would recommend them. They did good work for fair price.

Aaron was fantastic.  I intially hired him to come out and fix a rook leak.  After fixing the roof leak I discovered that I was still having water penatrating my sheet rock.  Aaron came out three times to determine where the leak was coming from.  On his third visit Aaron got on the roof with a hose and we got in the attic to see if we could see any water leaking in the attic.  Not a drop!  His roof repair did the job perfectly but I still had a water leak occuring somewhere in the house.  After determining that the roof leak was not the cause, Aaron suspected that the leak was related to a plumbing issue and with my permisson tore open the sheetrock in my bathroom. He immediatey found the leak and determined that it was coming from my upstairs bathroom.
I highly recommend Aaron for roofing repairs.  He is honest and really went out of his way to help me even though he had already repaired the roof.

We contacted Daniel Sowell after being referred to him by another client of his.  We explained the issues that we were having with our insurance quote  - and the fact that the quote didn't cover the whole roof which seemed strange. He came out in a day or so and reviewed the quote and inspected the roofs. He was able to get the quote put together to cover both roofs and scheduled a time to come out.  He was flexible in working with us and our tenant in the house to get the repairs done.  The entire job was done in a day and a half and contacted me with final updates. 
We found him to be very professional and responsive and will definitely recommend him in the future.

My initial contact with Daniel Sowell, the owner, was in 5/13, when he came from San Antonio to Fredericksburg to give an estimate.  He came promptly and communicated well.  I didn't have the actual work done until now, and was impressed with how easy it was to reach him by phone, e-mail, and text.  We had a postpone a couple of times due to weather, but once his crew started, he finished in about 3 days.  His crew was polite and hardworking. I have a beautiful new roof and the cleanup was just about perfect.  Daniel also went to bat for me with the insurance company so they covered it all.

Efficiently diagnosed problem areas, took pictures of deficiencies, and developed work proposal bid.  Worked with our time frame (although it did make overall project time take longer).  Repaired areas are leak free at this point.

I thought I wanted GAF cool series shingles. Daniel did research on these shingles and found that the granules on the shingles themselves is what did the heat reflecting. We discussed what would happen in the event of another hailstorm that did not call for roof replacement but only banged up the shingles, or just the accumulation of dirt over time. These shingles were also MUCH more expensive than regular lifetime shingles. He suggested instead GAF Timberline lifetime shingles and a special reflective underlayment. He talked to several commercial roofers who had used this underlayment and all had good things to say about it. The cost of this combination was much less than if the cool series shingles were used. He brought the roofing and all supplies out to my home a week before the job was done because the weather was so uncertain and he wanted to have everything ready when the forecast predicted clear skies. When he began, he did my roofing in sections because the weather was so indeterminate. There was never a time that the roof decking was exposed for more than a few minutes. His crew was very quick and professional and finished the job in two days.  By his recommendation ridge vents were installed. He also suggested, then installed, self -healing valleys. (over a period of time regular metal valleys can develop leaks because the nails back out or the holes in the metal enlarge) The geodesic dome had holes caused by  the hail. He repaired the damage and recoated the entire roof with a white elastomeric roofing solution. The cleanup for the whole job was done right away and the crew hauled away all the old roofing and policed the area for nails. 
Now the great part- In the past few days we have had temperatures continually over 100 and as high as 106. We have been able to cool the downstairs very comfortably during the day with only a 22000 BTU window unit with the compressor NOT running all the time, and ceiling fans ( We have 5 AC units available downstairs) Amazing! I can't wait to see the difference in my electric bill. I am VERY happy with the planning, advice and service Daniel provided. I would and have recommended him to anyone who wants a roofing job done right.

They brought the material in the week before and waited until it was predicted to stop raining for several days.They started by taking off and hauling away the old roofing in sections. They worked over the weekend and finished Monday so my business was able to operate almost without interruption. They cleaned up completely when their work was finished. The roof was uncovered and repaired in sections so that rain was never a problem. There were enough workers to complete the job in a minimum of time. I am VERY pleased with the quality and speed of the repair and roofing job. Daniel made recommendations on changes in ventilation (gable vent) and roofing (torchdown roll) that I think will solve some of our previous problems. I would (and will) recommend Daniel and Total Roofing to anyone.
