TIM'S HONEY DO REPAIRS

Description of Work: He showed up 1/2 hour late for the measuring, then started talking about us having him do some other work which we replied not interested. He told us he would get the quote together and have it to us in about 5 days. I text him later on that day and asked him if he could get the quote out quicker as we wanted to make a decision on the project. He text back early Monday morning asking for my email address which I responded with within 1 min. I can tell he never even looked at the response text I sent him and we never got the quote. Don't waste your time on even getting a bid.

Description of Work: I hired Tim and son to put Hardiplank on the outside of my home and paint, build a porch, put in new windows and put down wood floor in my dining room and tile in the kitchen and one bath. The work started out great. But he left one person here to dig holes for the patio and it took him 5 weeks to finish the work. He had other people call him after we contracted him and he pulled people off our contract to go do work at another place. We could not use our front door for 6 weeks because the digging was so laborious. He swore the porch would never move! But a year or so after we had a huge welt by the front door and it was so uneven, I was afraid someone would lose their balance while walking in or out the front door. |When they attached the Hardi to the house, they did not assure the sheets were attached at the wood frame beams, and soon after it was up you could push on the Hardi and would gap between the sheets. We hired another company later to fix their mistakes. |Because this job should have been completed in 2 to 2 1/2 weeks and it dragged on, I finally had to tell him to just complete the work and forget a few more line items. I just wanted the work to be over and was tired of waiting for a full crew to show up. I asked his worker why Tim was so slow in completing the work and he said he did this often where he would start a job then go on to other jobs. |For me this "Honey-Do" turned into "Honey-Don't"

Description of Work: He was hired by Benjamin Franklin to fix a hole in my wall.

Description of Work: Tim was called in to repair/repair broken attic folding stairs and to remount a tankless hot water system. They had to reframe a section of the attic for support.

Description of Work: Oversize (double) shower renovation.

Description of Work: 1. Retailed guest bathroom wall and replaced bathtub. Tiled bathroom floor. 2. Retailed MBR. Rebuilt and tiled shower. Resurfaced ceiling. 3. Replaced three toilets and faucets. Quality of work was good. Job took longer than expected.

Description of Work: They added in a header to replace some load bearing walls in our kitchen and then added in the drywall and floated and taped. Plus, they modified some eletrical items that needed to be rearranged.
