I’ve really enjoyed working with Jessica and her team while I lived in San Antonio this past year. I’m so sad to be moving, because I would keep using them forever! Jessica was always very responsive and did her best to accommodate my pet sitting needs, even when I didn’t give as much notice as I would have liked. The sitters were always so great with sending text updates and pictures, and I was able to relax knowing my animals were in great hands.

I am SO GRATEFUL for Throw me a Bone! I’ve used them for years, and recently had to go out of town for 3 weeks. I gave the owner, Jessica, barely a week’s notice and she was able to accommodate me and get me on the schedule. Jessica, the owner is super nice, helpful, and informative. She also picked a great team because every sitter I’ve met are true animal lovers! Theresa is my main sitter and she is so sweet with my cats! She sends me daily texts with updates and photos. I never worry and know they are in good hands giving me peace of mind. They have very reasonable rates, top quality care, prompt response time, and great communication. If you are needing a sitter I highly recommend this company!

Jessica’s service is PERFECT! She has assigned two sitters in my area, one primary and the other is backup. Both came for meet and greet visit with all details. Jessica was recently able to accommodate me when I had a family emergency and had to leave town with an unknown return date. The last three days were “Jessica I need another day – PLEASE”. Convenient payment through Venmo and sitter sends a short message with pics every day of my baby.

I've been using TMAB for well over a year now. I started b/c one of my babies, Roxie, had cancer and couldn't go to doggy daycare anymore b/c of chemo. My other (older) pup, Reese, hated daycare so I was looking for a dog-walking service and came across TMAB. My pup with cancer was still really active and we couldn’t just leave her home all day in a kennel everyday. Jessica (owner) answered my phone call at like 8pm at night and has been so great and flexible with our needs and the needs of our pups. We have changed days, canceled at the last minute with health issues etc and she was very willing to work with us and our schedule. We started with only two walks a week but quickly moved up to three times a week. Linda (our walker) is also super friendly and wonderful with the pups. I was really worried about giving out a key to my house but after I met her I instantly knew I could trust her. Also, my older dog, Reese, is REALLY particular to who she likes. I really thought she might attack her coming into the house for the first time alone but they worked with us to come over a few times before coming into the house alone. It took a few times but she came to love Linda too. After my Roxie passed in December (btw, I could see how supportive and sad both Jessica and Linda were when that happened) Linda continued to walk our older dog Reese who has different needs. She goes at her slow pace, finds her water to play in after the rain and makes sure she’s doing ok on the walk and not getting too hot. We now have a new puppy who should be able to start walking with Linda in a few weeks after her vaccinations are done and I’m so excited. We’ve already discussed the different needs of the two dogs and have a plan for walking both of them. I thought TMAB was providing such a great service I recommended them to some neighbors down the street for some pet sitting and heard they had a good experience too. They asked about our walker b/c they would see her and Reese in the neighborhood. Let’s just say Reese has a reputation in the neighborhood for not being very friendly. They were so surprised a “stranger” was walking her and Reese was letting her. LOL! I also recommended them to my mom who is not able to walk her very active dog very far by herself. She started with one walk and quickly went to two walks a week too and has had nothing but great things to say about her walkers. I feel like TMAB has the best interests of the dogs in mind and as a pet parent that’s really important to me. We haven’t used their overnight services yet but I would feel very comfortable having them stay at my house. They have become like family!

This is the best pet sitter in the area. I was traveling a lot and needed someone to care for my 2 cats. The process was very professional. First, I got to meet my 2 pet sitters, who alternated based on their schedules. There was always availability for my pet sitting requests. The cost was very fair and easy to process payments. My kitties were happy with both of their sitters, and Facebook posts feature all kinds of other happy pets. I was very happy receiving texts seeing my boys looking happy and healthy while I was away. I moved, so sadly do not use their wonderful service anymore, but thought I would give them a shout out, since I was so pleased with Throw Me a Bone pet sitting. I would highly recommend this pet sitter!

Excellent service. Had used TMAB pet sitting years ago and just recently used the services again; I was thrilled with the attention to detail, dedication, communication, costs, and overall professionalism of the owner (Jessica) and the pet sitters (Whitney and Jackie)! We have had very good luck with TMAB for several years now. Our animals are always well cared for and receive the attention they crave when we are out of town. We have had several TMAB pet sitters and I have no complaints about any of them. I always trust Jessica to hire well-trained and caring sitters. Our animals are always glad to see them and we receive daily pictures and reports on how they are doing. Great service!

The dog sitters have been wonderful. They are kind to my two dogs. They update me with pictures of their visits. I have had no issues or problems and have used their services multiple times.

I very much appreciate and rely upon TMAB services for both of my golden retrievers. I have utilized their services for over 3 years now and quite frankly, is one of the most professional organizations I have worked with for my dogs. Caring, convenient, and caregivers for all pets, they are just the best with my goldens, and I can see that when i watch them react to Veronica’s arrival at my house. Playing ball, running around, and just providing the necessary affection and attention when i cant be there, i appreicate Jessica and her team more then they know.

Throw me a Bone is AMAZING! They are prompt to return scheduling requests and cost is very reasonable. We LOVE our sitter and ‘the zoo’ always looks forward to her visit! We et daily pictures of our 4 legged babies and when out of town know that our pets are cared for and loved! We would not think of using another service! Throw me a Bone Cares for our babies as well as we do!

Fabulous as usual. We wish we could bring out furball with us everywhere we go, but that's not always possible. Throw Me A Bone is reliable and trustworthy. The will send you pictures every time they visit, which is a nice touch. I never worry about Cooper when we leave him behind in such great hands.

Jessica and her team are amazing! The two people who take care of my pets are Veronica and Amie and both my fur babies love them! They have always been very good about scheduling and prices. They are always on time, and if they are running late they send a quick text to let me know. Overall one of the best companies I’ve worked with while living in San Antonio!

I have used Throw Me a Bone for over 2 years now for potty break visits for my German Shepherd and for vacation daily visits for my cat, mail, newspaper, & plant care. Everyone that Jessica, the owner, has sent out has been excellent. It's obvious that they all love pets!

These guys are great. Our dog loves his walker, Allison. She sends us pictures and/or videos with notes to tell us how he is doing. The owner, Jessica, is professional and runs a well organized company. I feel completely comfortable having them in our home, and don't know what we would do without their service. They may be raising their rates soon, which is fine with me, they are worth far more than they are charging.

We brought our rescue dog home back in Jan 2015 and immediately realized we needed help. My wife and I both work and our dog had one of the worst cases of separation anxiety I’ve ever seen. We were forced to kennel him daily while we worked and needed help fast. Throw Me A Bone saved the day. Jessica and Tom were, and still are, fantastic. Our dog began to calm and ease into a daily routine, and we owe a huge debt to TMAB in that regard. We still use their service 5 days a week and I would recommend them to anybody in need of help with their pets. They always go the extra mile and I can rest assured our dog is well taken care of every day we leave for work. Can’t recommend them enough!

They responded right away. They took very good care of my fur babies. My dogs were happy and healthy when I returned. The ladies sent me pictures of my dogs everyday and kept me informed of what's happening that day.

AWESOME!! I have been utilizing TMAB's services for just over 3 years now. Jessica runs a very responsive network of trained and trustworthy sitters. We have been so pleased with the services of Tom, Kristen and Emily - they are true animal lovers and extremely professional. They have even gained the trust and affection of some very stand-offish cats! They send me daily texts with pictures for their visits, including my prize bettas - very comforting when we are away. Plus they are very flexible with ad hoc requests to water pots depending on the weather. We travel a lot and often the schedule changes on short notice due to weather etc - they have always gone out of their way to accommodate our needs. We recently moved to the outskirts of the city (actually almost a rural area) and we were so pleased with their services previously that we paid extra for the sitters to come to our area. However, it was a stretch in their schedule so she even worked an expansion of TMAB's coverage that includes our new residence - BIG YAAH!! I recommend TMAB without reservation based on my years of experience with them which has required responsiveness, flexibility and top notch care of my nest, fur and fin kids!

Jessica and her team are simply the best. My dog Macie had spinal surgery and they took so much time with us to find out her needs. They always text me to let me know she is ok when I’m gone and send me pictures of her. She has special needs because of her injury and I wouldn’t choose anyone else to watch her. They are great!

Excellent! Jessica, the owner, has a great business model. Not only do you meet her at the introductory visit, but meet the sitters assigned to your account. Having just moved to San Antonio earlier this year, we researched a lot of pet sitters. We knew we wanted one who belonged to Pet Sitter International, but even then most of them didn’t meet our standards. Jessica and her team are phenomenal. They take pictures and will if you like, text you pics and videos of every visit. They also will post to the Facebook page which is a service we are looking forward to when we travel out of the country and texting becomes expensive. I have even used them as a “locksmith” ? Being new in town, I accidentally locked myself out and Allison did not hesitate to drive over and let me in. Way cheaper than a locksmith and a friendly face as opposed to some strange man showing up to let me in! To sum it up, we feel better knowing our pets are being spoiled when we are not home and will continue to use them for many years to come. P.s. Two of our dogs are senior Chihuahuas with quite a medicine regime that is constantly changing. We are able to go out of town and know that each dog gets the right meds at the right times.
