Excellent work! Showed up on time, protected the area, ground the stumps of two trees down below the surface, cleaned up and was gone in under an hours. Andy was very courteous and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Andy to anyone who needs to have a stump removed or ground down. Thanks for a job well done.

contacted Andy & requested a quote for stump griding.  After texting him a pic of the tree in question I recd his quote right away.   The work had wait until it stopped raining, but once it did Andy called me and  promptly showed up &  proceeded to  grind down the stump in no time.  While here he offered to grind a smaller stump on the side of my house for a nominal fee.  Andy did a fantastic job!  was very pleased with his work - would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to have a tree stump grinded down.

I was fortunate enough to find the Stump Guy on a web search (unfortunately I did not look on Angie?s List).  I sent a request for an estimate and Andy responded within the hour with a very reasonable price and a willingness to do it on a Saturday or Sunday, which I needed.  Andy was professional and great to work with.  He did an outstanding job!  I would definitely use the Stump Guy again!

I called on Wednesday 10/15 to have the stump ground down on that day if possible since it was very close to the concrete work I was having done.  Andy called me after lunch and came out about 2PM to grind down the stump.  With his stump grinding machine it took about 20 minutes to complete the job.

Actually removed more stumps than originally contracted for.  Work was done professionally and efficiently. Very friendly and personable.  Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I couldn't be happier with the experience.  Andy is a true professional.  He came and gave me an estimate, even gave me advice about the best way to care for the existing trees as i install my new planters and landscaping.  When it came time to do the work he showed up as scheduled and made quick work of the numerous stumps i needed removed.   He even took out a couple smaller stumps that he found that we hadnt talked about.  I woudl not hesitate to hire him again and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to have this type of work performed.

I have a very large lot for a subdivision lot.  On my lot are approximately 22 trees, mostly oak and cedar elms.  None of them is less than 40' tall.  In addition, I have a border along the perimeter of the yard on the side of the yard that borders a busy neighborhood street comprised of Chinese ligustroms that are approximately 25' tall.  This is the third time I've used The Stump Guy.  As in the previous times, They trimmed my trees, especially the large oak that tends to send out branches over the street, and evened out the tops and sides of the ligustroms.  They were prompt, courteous, and very professional.  When they were done, they cleaned up the trimmings and branches they had cut, chipped them, and hauled them away.

My husband called The Tree Stump Guy, Andy , to come out and give an estimate to have an Arizona Ash tree stump removed from my parents front yard.  I was at their home when Andy came by yesterday.  He measured the stump and explained exactly what he would do.  He quoted two prices, one with removal of the mulch, the other without removal of the mulch.  I decided on the without removal.  He explained that he would mulch the tree stump and  the two very long roots that were going towards the sidewalk.  He also said that he would pile the mulch up on the area where he would remove the stump and then rake and blow that rest to make it neat until we could bag it and haul it off ourselves.  Andy has this great piece of equipment that is remote controlled.  He backed the equipment off the truck and by remote, this machine removed the stump and the roots.  It was amazing to watch the preciseness of this task.  It probably took 15 minutes to grind everything, then Andy raked the mulch into a pile and then took his blower and cleaned the area very neatly.
My husband and Dad took care of bagging the pile of mulch this morning and it took 9 lawn bags.  We can dispose of it easily but if you need it to be bagged and removed, Andy will be more than happy to do it for an added cost.    Andy is a very conscientious, professional efficient and all around nice guy.  I would highly recommend him to do your stump grinding.  He also does tree planting, tree removal and trimming.

He did a phenomenal job, and he was exceptional. He was very prompt, and professional, I was very impressed, I don’t usually see that. I would highly recommend him. I can’t say enough good about what he did. He is the only one I will use in the future.
