Been using them for a couple years. Now, when they use your equipment they say they aren't responsible for breaking anything. Just had Billy break our floor steamer. I saw him do it. I decided to see what would happen and he would have some character and step up to the plate. So much for that. He lied when confronted. He didn't lock the handle, it fell to the floor and broke the holding clip that holds the solution tank to the unit. Ester, the "manager", says they aren't liable for breakage and when Billy did it, he thru away the plastic piece that broke off. What a fabulous company. This is the quality of people they hire. At this point, I don't think I could trust them to clean my doghouse.

It's a national franchise. They come to the house every 2 weeks and go thru the house. The ladies that do the cleaning are very good and very quick. They will sometimes miss things but once I point it out to them, they will go back and take care of it.

I hired them in January of 2016 to clean my home. I was scheduled for every two weeks.

 At first I was pleased with the work being done, however, I did have a problem with the way they clean the tile in my kitchen. They did not use enough water so my kitchen floor was never very clean and I washed it myself. The rest of the house was good so I didn't complain and kept making comments that I was not happy with the way they attempted to clean my floor.

Then things began to deteriorate. In April the cleaners who normally came had changed and I was not happy. It was becoming a source of irritation to me that the work was sloppy and finally on June 06 the work was so poor that I called just after the cleaners left to complain.

A supervisor came over and I showed here the kitchen cabinets which were to be detailed had not been done at all...the laundry room baseboards were not totally cleaned and I was not happy. I decided to cancel the service. The aggravation was not worth $126 every two weeks.

The Cleaning Authority on ISOM Road in San Antonio owned by Gary Lenard had been cleaning our home for the last year, bimonthly. I called after the last cleaning which was of extremely poor quality( in and out in less than 2 hours - bathrooms left unclean, floors sticky... and we had company coming so I recleaned myself) with a simple request, or so I thought. Could the office please notify me if the cleaning team members were going to be switched, so I could be prepared to assist them and also review the needs in our home. Another option I proposed was to send out a supervisor to check the team's work if a switch out of maids was made. When I called about the poor clean, the office manager Ester was extremely rude and gave me a long list of her problems - high staff turnover, timelines to meet regarding homes being cleaned... and then was told during the call our fee was going up $10 a clean. We were already paying $127 a trip, always have the house ready for them to service and often tip the cleaners. I did not agree to a cost increase - I requested a callback from the owner three times and finally talked with him after a two week wait, when I insisted on holding on the phone for him. The next visit, the maids told me they could no longer clean our family room couch, or the 2 bathrooms. After responding in writing regarding the unexpected changes made, they cancelled services with us. Really - don't use them to clean your home. Extremely poor leadership from the owner and office manager.

We have had nothing but problems with the Cleaning Authority. Every few weeks, there would be a new cleaning lady that had NO idea what they were supposed to be doing in our home. As a result, we would have to have them BACK out for things like they forgot to clean the toilets, empty trash cans, cleaning sinks, wiping down counters, etc. This all despite them listing these  items as completed on our invoice. The last straw was they had a new girl out on Friday that used an SOS pad to scour a new $4,500 stainless Electrolux gas range and then bold-faced lied about doing it. We had a manager call us and their argument was "well, we used your cleaning products so we couldn't have done that and even if we did, its your responsibility not ours". As they claim to be a professional company, one would expect their employees to know that you can't use scouring pads on stainless steel appliances as it will marr the finish. I got a chainsaw in the garage but that doesn't mean that we want you to use it in our dining room... We have notified the managers at the Cleaning Authority and they refuse to even look at the damage. As such, I would recommend using another company for your home cleaning needs.

I am retired and when they come, I can be here or I cannot be home and I don't have to worry about any of my personal belongings going missing or being put somewhere where I cannot find them. We basically did an orientation when they got here to let them know how I like to have things done, and they have been eager to accommodate my request. I requested a specific person to come over here that was doing our other house and they were able to accommodate me. I was able to get the same day and time frame with the person that I wanted. Gabriela is the name of the woman and she has kept me to stay with The Cleaning Authority. I read some of the reviews that some other people had put in for them and all of them didn't necessarily seem to be glowing, but I think it probably was a matter of them not really communicating with them and letting them know how and what they wanted done because I've had no issues with them whatsoever.

I like that they show up when they're suppose to. They're punctual. They did a good job. I've never gone that from anybody I've used. I would use them again in the future.

I have been using their services for about a year now. They were much more willing to negotiate on the price and cater what I wanted to have done with the cleaning. Their manager also spent time with me and walked around my house. They provide all of the supplies and they use green cleaning products. I would highly recommend them to others.

From my perspective, I had a detail clean of my other rooms and an Ultimate Clean of my bath and kitchen! Brea and Shonda were my team and those two are a phenomenal team! I hope the company realizes the superior value of this team and will keep them together! I have high standards for my home when it comes to clean and these two did not disappoint. Also, my home has been well kept up - after having someone for many years, I had to seek a new provider. I chose another from Angie's List but I still had a problem with punctuality/showing up on agreed day. While I have not had enough of a history with TCA to evaluate that quality, I doubt very, very much that it will be an issue. In my pre-evaluation process, what really made a difference for me was Gary Leonard recognized my home did not need an and quot;initial cleanand quot; and was honest. I appreciated this as all other candidates insisted on the initial clean which is quite a bit more. I know many people and quot;thinkand quot; they do not need an initial clean but I truly did not - even the team commented on the state of my home when they got into the cleaning.
Also, an inspector came by just prior to their completion and gave everything the white glove test which, over course, Team Brea and Shonda passed with flying colors! This is a wonderful way to keep folks accountable so the standard does not slip over time.
I enjoyed my entire experience with TCA from bid to clean. I have them scheduled again. I would highly recommend them but you cannot schedule Team Brea and Shonda - they're mine and whoever else already has them!

They did an outstanding job. Really happy to have found this company. Communication, expectations, professionalism, and price all A+. From management to the cleaning personnel - totally impressed. It's an excellent service. Use them.

The service providers cleaned exactly as stated they would. We received a detailed list of items that would be cleaned prior to starting the service and the providers did exactly as was on the list.

I was promised by the owner that there would be and quot;no cobwebs in any corner.and quot; Except for the first visit, this was never true. Work was half-completed, with dust left on multiple surfaces and cobwebs in a lot of corners. Their rotation system seemed like a good idea -- a and quot;deep cleaningand quot; area of focus, plus a light cleaning of all other rooms. However, I never really saw results in the focus area, let alone in the other rooms. I finally let them go after coming home and not being sure if they had even been at the house, as it looked practically the same before I left home as when I returned.

They do a good job, I wouldn't use them if they didn't. I have been using them for about 4 or 5 months.

The Cleaning Authority's price was the best of all the bids I received. The management was very professional and responsive. The cleaning personnel are punctual, cheerful and professional when they come. My entire house always looks excellent when they finish. I really like how they clean the bathrooms because I have 2 cats that make a mess!
One of my favorite things they do is how they detail different areas of my home on a rotating basis with green chemicals only. I highly recommend them to anyone and have referred friends and family to them. Everyone I have referred have been very happy with them as well.
