THE CARPET MAN

I chose The Carpet Man after getting verbal estimates over the phone from three companies. One of the other Angie's List clients mentioned that she used a coupon from the back of the Yellow Pages, and so did I [15% off]. Man Neville and an assistant picked up the carpet, cleaned it and returned it within two weeks. Mr. Neville said that he had re-cleaned the high-traffic areas twice, because they were not clean enough to suit him. No extra charge. It looks great!

Man Neville took the time when he returned my rugs to speak extensively to me about each rug and the results. He also told me one of them would not handle another flushing, and to really keep the animals off of it...it was a fancier, lighter silk blend rug. He then told me he has lots of experience with this and believes he's the best in the business. He then took a special light and went around my house and tested my wall-to-wall (some of it very new), to show me where other stains were that I was unaware of. He did this free of charge and did not push me to have them cleaned, but assured me he could clean them without pulling them up, as other companies I've talked to claimed they had to do that. He is a very professional, friendly man with excellent customer service. I will definitely call him again soon to clean my wall-to-walls as they are getting urine stains now from my less-then-perfectly-trained little dog!

I called The Carpet Man, after finding a discount coupon for their services, in my Yellow Pages telephone book. The operator gave me the option of having my rug cleaned on-site on a hard surface, having it picked up and cleaned at their shop, or bringing it in to their shop myself. I chose to have it picked up for cleaning, so a few days after the call, one of their technicians stopped by for the rug. He asked me to point out any areas of special concern and left me a claim ticket. Estimated time to return the rug, was a couple of weeks, and they would call before attempting to deliver it. I received the cleaned rug about 4 weeks later, due to the company moving its shop, after picking up my order. The technician readily accepted my coupon and described, in detail, the way they had cleaned the rug. I am pleased with the results, the rug looks much brighter and it had no residual odor from the cleaning process. The delay in receiving the cleaned rug, was the only problem I had.
