About us
We work directly with homeowners, businesses, or general contractors managing residential or commercial projects. We have extensive experience coordinating work with other craftsmen and trades involved in your project (e.g., flooring, electrical, plumbing, tile). We are a family-owned and operated business large enough to handle substantial projects, but small enough to provide personal attention for every client. We are not a business franchise. Every client and their project receive the benefits of the Wizard's (Brad) 35 years of experience. Every project receives the benefits of the combined 25 years of experience of our shop manager, our production and installation specialist, and our finishing specialist, and all steps are reviewed by the Wizard himself. We pride ourselves in timeliness and reliability. Project production and finishing are completed in our shop, which minimizes disruption to your household. Because every job requires custom materials and custom builds, we require a 50% deposit payable by cash or check. Credit cards and PayPal also accepted (service fee may apply). The balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the project. We don't stop until our clients are happy with the quality of our work. Depending on our current workload and the project complexity, lead time typically ranges from four to eight weeks. We offer free in-home design consultations and quote services on weekdays or weekends, as well as free service calls after project completion. Visits to our shop are by appointment only. See our client reference list and list of available options under the Media tab!!!

"Hi there [Member Name Removed]...I'm way behind telling folks how much we appreciate the time taken to post their comments. Other homeowners have shared how much our previous clients' reviews helped in their decision-making process. So, from us and all of them, a great big THANKS! Most sincerely, Dawn"
"Hey there [Member Name Removed], It's been just over three years since we worked with you...let us know if this one spot in your bookshelves is a remaining burr under your saddle! Perhaps there is still something we can do to address that for you. Thanks for posting a frank and honest review. It's important that folks know we do make mistakes on occasion. What is also important is that when you aren't happy with the end product, even if it seems an unimportant or small detail at the time, let us know and we will do whatever we can to correct anything that's just not quite right. Thanks again from your Cabinet Wizard Family!"
"Hi there [Member Name Removed]! As I've mentioned before, sometimes it takes me a while to respond to comments [ \8^( ] ! But that doesn't mean we don't truly value our previous clients taking the time to post a comment about our work and service (a double negative...but it should make sense ;^D ). Your detailed and expressive review makes us very proud that you were so completely happy with your renovation. That is always our goal and we thank you for your thorough comment! Please let us know if there is anything else you need. (Brad says you were truly great to work with!) Thanks again! Dawn"
"(Thanks [Member Name Removed]! We know you're a really busy fellow!)"
"Hi [Member Name Removed] (tell your wife we said hi also!)...Even though it's been over three years (time flies and I get too far behind!), we haven't forgotten working with you to design, build, and install your extra-large wall storage cabinet. Thank so much for taking a moment to leave your review. Be sure to let us know if you need more storage! (If you're like me, no matter how much I have, I tend to fill it all and then need more! ) But seriously, thanks again! Dawn and Brad"
"Hi [Member Name Removed]...Your comment posted 4 days before my shoulder surgery. As a small family business, any short staffing has consequences. We try to minimize the impact by focusing on high priority work (keeping work-in-progress on track for timely installation is the biggest!). Sadly, that meant your gracious comments were completely overlooked at that time. But...regardless of our tardy recognition of your efforts...we do appreciate the time you took to post your frank and honest review. Indeed...we make mistakes now and then, but as you noted, we do our very best to make it right and leave you happy with the end product! We are glad we could wrap up your project in a very satisfactory way! Thanks again for taking time out for us! Dawn"
"[Member Name Removed]...we are so happy you were pleased enough to leave a comment well after our work was done. We are honored! Thank you very much for taking time out to post a review. Making sure folks understand the whole process is really important to us. Home improvements on this scale aren't something most people do more than once. When you can't see or touch the end-product, don't even know what's going on...well, that can provoke a whole lot of anxiety. Our expertise and that extra bit of personal attention is one reason folks come to us. We see you as a partner while working on your project. You're never "just another customer"! And...absolutely...for our cabinet refacing we only use a real wood product that is an exact match to the exteriors our brand new custom-built cabinets. (Not in a million years would we ever use a peel-n-stick product with a printed wood-grain pattern to reface any cabinets!) Thanks once more for the honor of your comments! Dawn and Brad"
We can't say enough of how much we appreciate Brad and his crew for all their expertise and most of all their kindness and professionalism. We have done quite a bit of work on our house in the past few years and unfortunately we have had some bad experiences with dealing with workers we have hired for some of the jobs and have been disappointed. But, Brad was the total opposite. He truly is an artist and takes pride in his work, and cares about his clients and wants them to be pleased and happy with the finished project. We would highly recommend "The Cabinet Wizard" to anyone who is looking for a beautiful custom cabinets.
One important thing to be aware of is his schedule. He gets busy, so it's best to schedule as far ahead as possible. But good people are always in high demand. I would highly recommend The Cabinet Wizard and plan to use them on my next project.
"Hi (removed member name), It was a pleasure working with you also. I know everybody on our team enjoyed working with you. We all do our very best for each of our clients and Brad (the Wizard) never leaves a job until our client is happy. It's also very important to us that we help folks understand the entire process, how it works, what we do, the materials we use, and answer **all** your questions. We do this every day...it's pretty likely you've never done anything like this before. When we explain our process or answer your questions, we may give you more information than you ever expected. But it's important to us that you know more than what you might want rather than not enough of what you need. Some of all that information may even answer questions you didn't know you had. You can't know to ask about things you don't know. And it's **always** better to know sooner than later. When your project is done, we hope we don't hear "oh shoot...I wish I'd known you could do that!" Home improvements are a big investment, so knowing more rather than less also helps you feel more confident you'll get the best out of your investment dollars. And, of course, most of us have to budget those dollars, so knowing your options can be pretty important. You can pick and choose what will fit your budget and be able to decide which options are more important and which ones...eh, not so much. So all of that, and more, are reasons to hire a custom cabinet maker. Your project is unique and special...it's customized to fit your personality and lifestyle. We believe the word "custom" applies to more than just cabinets. It also applies to the personalized attention you deserve from us. Thank you, (Member name removed), we sure appreciate you taking the time to share such thoughtful comments! Enjoy your kitchen and we'll see you next time! Brad and Dawn"
"Hi [member name removed], We sure appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to share your experience with the Angie's List members. We do try to make everything flow as smoothly as possible and it sounds like we hit that nail on the head. We strive to build our cabinets to furniture-grade standards, and not only for functionality, but beauty as well. We want your cabinetry to fit your home like it was always meant to be there. We're sure happy to hear you're pleased with our work! Brad and Dawn"
