My neighbor (Greg Fallin) highly recommended that I purchase my landscaping stones/rocks from Texas Soil & Stone Outfitters. The service was better than I expected… My wife is so pleased, that she is sending back for some more stones for areas in our back yard…

• I talked to Chris on the phone and told him that I needed about 8 cubic yards of topsoil for some flower beds.  He recommended their garden soil and we agreed for them to deliver it the next day.  I was pleasantly surprised at the very quick service.  They didn't show up at the scheduled time and I called and found out that they apparently had some kind of mechanical problem.  They did show up a short time later.  I showed the driver where I wanted the soil dumped and he put it exactly where I wanted it.  I do mean exact!  The soil itself had too many sticks mixed into it for my preference, however, it did the job very nicely.  I would order it again.  Chris was very polite, professional and helpful and it was nice to be able to use my credit card and pay by phone a couple of hours before delivery.  I didn't even have to leave the house.  Overall, a very good experience.

The company said "we are not on Angie's List and there is no discount for anyone".  I said I had just checked before we drove over and that indeed they were on Angie's List and they denied it.  Other individuals had told me that they were and they got a discount on both purchase and delivery.  They vehemently denied this.  So we just paid for our purchase and paid the delivery fee.  We will never use this company again.  The only positive element of this experience was that the road base product was good and the delivery driver was very competent and professional.  So I am not sure what is going on with this company, but we have other companies available and we will never use them again.

The last year it was 30, this year it is 15 and my landscape guy says next year probably 10-12. I have already used them twice.

I found this company on Angie's List, and the reviews were correct. This is a great company and Matt and Chris were both really helpful when I called about not knowing how much or what kind of soil to order. We got it and quot;figgeredand quot; out, made the appointment, and the morning of delivery, Chris called to let me know they were on their way.
Boy was my nephew surprised at how much 7 1/2 yards of soil amounts to!
It is really excellent soil for tired lawns. I can't wait to watch it green up.

I was told the order would be delivered between 2 and 3p. The load was delivered at 2:30. They called me to let me know it was on its way and, after it was delivered , I got a follow-up call asking if everything went as I expected and if I was satisfied. I was also given a small discount after saying I got their name from Angie's list. Fast, next day delivery.

Very well. The driver went out of his way to deliver the load as close to my house as he could. The guys working on the project were very happy for that.

Good experience. Initially ordered 8 yards of hardwood mulch for the beds. The next morning it was delivered on time. Wasn't sure how much I needed, nor how much I could spread by myself in a day, but around lunch I realized I would be needing more mulch. I made another call and they delivered 5 more yards that afternoon. Besides a sore back from moving 13 yards of mulch by myself in 1 day, everything went great. My only complaint is that the mulch could have been a little darker.

We have a whole bunch of dirt so we bought a lot of top soil from them. Our overall experience with them is good.

Very prompt and professional, took pride in what they were doing.
