company refuses to finish work but has my money.

The presentation prior to the work was professional and the price at the time seemed reasonable, later on I found I could have had the same work done at a much lower cost.  Their crew showed up on time, but almost immediately they started with a calamity.  One of the windows they removed, was dropped, shattering glass over the entire costly floor I had just had installed.  They cleaned up the glass and completed their work.  It seemed like a fair job, only later to find out they had gouged out a large piece of my flooring and not told me about it.  To make matters worse, the men tried to cover the gouging by putting down some kind of rubber putty, apparently hoping I wouldn't notice.  I did.  I contacted their salesman who said to contact the crew chief so he could repair it.  I did, and he said he would call me back, but never did.  I had the original floor installer repair some of the damage.  I ran into the company again at the Home and Garden Show and told them what had happened.  He gave me his card and told me to call him.  I did, and left a message which he never returned.  Since then, I've had water leakage into my house, after some heavy rains, further damaging my floors.  I traced the leak to directly beneath one of the windows they replaced.

They are very good. They are very business-like and professional. The gentleman that came shook our hands and was very helpful in deciding what to do. He came in the evening and he was timely. He was right on time. We have been waiting for our income tax to come back to proceed. We had 3 bids and they were comparable. They were responsive.- Since this review, They did not show up to the appointment. I have called several times to the designer, and the contractor and no one has returned my calls. The contractors voicemail had been full until Monday 2/24/14 which I left a message for him and he has yet to call me. It seems a little unusual that no one has returned my call.

He wasn't on Angie's List so I was hesitant to use him. But he seemed like a nice enough guy and they were doing phone canvassing so since I was thinking about having this work done I had him come out and do an estimate. From the estimate that I got he was very professional and punctual. He was very business oriented and gave a nice presentation about his company. He showed me his Texas builder's association credentials. I liked his professionalism and the fact that he was willing to give references. He did the measurements and gave an immediate quote on the spot which I thought was very reasonable. I am going to try to use him for this work.
