Stay away from Ernest! This guy is a smooth talker and will take advantage of you, he is also the type to sneak a few extra services once services have commenced.
For example, Ernest came to me to inform me the closets were really grimy, he would hate for me to have a dirty disgusting closet! We can get those painted for you No problem! Innocent little me, said yeah sure as long as it doesn't take a lot of time and you will be done by the end of the week. Oh yeah, no problem! We are going to spray so it won't take any time at all..... Well, We get to the end of the week, and he was WELL aware of my time line and the fact that the carpet people were coming that Friday. He was not finished and played dumb when the carpet people showed up! I told him from day one they were coming Friday, as well as every single day when I went to check on everything, texts and face to face conversations about the carpet people. He did not seem to care about my timelines...
He also pressured me into giving him the second half of the check before services were complete. This is what really got to me, once I handed him that check he was checked out, and took him 2 extra weeks to finish something he promised would be done by the end of the week.... I was so angry at myself for letting him do that to me.
We bought paint through him (he uses Sherwin Williams) and all he left was half a can of the main wall color....  If Ernest tries to push Tony Taupe: SW 7038  on you, that's my paint!
We also had some ADT Security system remotes that went missing.... I asked him about them, and until he got his final payment (For all the extra stuff he threw in there) The remotes conveniently showed up on his desk.... I don't know how they showed up on his desk the day he got his money, very interesting.... I am waiting to hear his excuse as to why he had them
His guys were very nice and they did a decent job overall. But there is no way I would ever work with or recommend Ernest again, he was a nightmare to deal with. There are a few places that need touch ups and they tore down some trim from the beams in the living room, but I don't even want to ask him to come inside my home again... I would rather climb a 20 foot ladder and do it myself then deal with him anymore.
I debated leaving a negative review, but every time I think about the entire process it makes my blood boil and I would hate for that to happen to anyone else.

I feel compelled to write this review because I hired Ernest & his company to do the job based on the excellent reviews on Yellow Pages. I don't know who wrote all of those reviews but my experience was far from good. As I mentioned previously, I hired Ernest to paint the exterior & deck of my home and to perform some minor deck & garage repairs.  The first day of the job, his crew helped themselves to the gas in the gas can that we use to fill the lawn mower. It was obvious because we had refilled the can the night before he and his crew showed up and we noticed that the can had not been replaced in the same location. No one else had access to the garage except them. Ernest employs bait-and-switch tactics. Once he started the job, he no longer wanted to do the minor repairs, claiming that if we wanted "to do it right" the repairs would be more involved and would cost significantly more. He never mentioned this when we were discussing the job before we hired him. Needless to say, he did not perform the minor repairs. They used and broke our push-broom but did not replace it. The deck that he painted started to chip less than a year after he painted it but I hesitated to call him since we did not have a good experience with him and his crew the first time around. I had emailed him on his website but he didn't respond. When I reached him, at first he said he would take care of it. Once he showed up at our home, he changed his tune and said he didn't warranty the deck but would provide the labor if I paid for the paint for $100. I asked that he confirm the price of the paint before we decided if we would go ahead and repaint the deck. After several phone calls (from me to him) and promises that he would email me, he finally sent me a bid for the "materials" and the bid was now up to $350. I emailed him back asking him what happened to the $100 for paint and he never responded. Ernest is not honest, forthcoming or reliable nor will he follow through with his promises.

They were courteous and professional. They were also timely and got it done exactly when he said he would get it done. He was able to match a competitor's prices and I will use them again in the future.

Daniel Morris was the name of the painter. His work was excellent. He did the job for 5 days. The price was very reasonable. He was very detail oriented. He definitely made good suggestions and did not move the price on us. He was very professional and he got the job done in a reasonable time. Before the job, he covered everything up and his cleanup job was excellent. I actually am using him soon for a different job of painting the exterior of our house.

I actually used this company twice and twice I was disappointed. The owner is pleasant and agreed to perform the quality of work I desired. At the end of each job there was something that was not completed. Although he promised to return to complete the job he never did. Very disappointing. I will not use this company again. I also feel that his prices are high. His estimates were not based on square footage so it's hard to determine how he identifies the estimated cost.

Started out great. Ended up with me filing a complaint with the BBB. I still have pictures of Superiors work.

They did a good job on the popcorn ceiling. However they left a light hanging in my bedroom and now a window blind will not budge. After a shift in the foundation, I called them for some repairs to fix the blind, light, a carpet and a few other repairs and never recieved a call back. Finally after coming over, he looked at everything and stated he couldn't do anything to fix it.
