Peter was not able to take 5 minutes to explain to me why I might need more work done on my AC unit after he had previously charged me 3k this most recent summer. I understand not enjoying the process of explaining to someone the details of an AC unit, but the fact that he decided to have zero patience and get rude with me for asking simple questions makes me feel as if the work I paid for the prior summer was either misdiagnosed or at the very least not completely diagnosed.

I have had them for years and years. I have had them about 20 years. It is a small company, a couple of people that work for them, he is good and no going to cheat you. Excellent, they are professional and knowledgeable.

The provider arrived, took a quick look at the unit blower in the condo and said he needed to be paid $225.00 in advance before proceeding to the roof to check the unit. He returned to my unit to say it was now working fine and only needed four pounds of freon gas. I asked for an itemized bill as $225.00 was VERY high for a service call and four pounds of freon. He refused to return any money. I checked with the supply company and learned that freon gas was selling for $14.00 per pound. Obviously, I will never use this company again.

I was impressed with how fast Peter responded and how thorough he was to make sure he found the exact problem and associated repair. My unit is old and rusty, and I expected to hear I would have to replace the entire thing. What a relief to get my A/C back on after a simple (and much less expensive) motor repair. He even had the proper part in his truck so the A/C was back on just a couple of hours after my initial call. I will never call anyone else for my heating and cooling needs.

Called Peter at Sunrise to check the a/c overflow pipe after seeing him recommended on our online neighborhood network. He did a great job, very thorough, checking the attic and outside units and teaching me how to keep the algae from stopping up the pipe. Will be using him to check the heater in the fall. Very happy.

I had a disaster on my hands - my home warranty company played games and sent unqualified techs out to service my AC unit which was leaking into my living room (they never fixed it). I was fortunate enough to find Sunrise. I felt that Peter was very honest with me and he got the unit repaired - including exchanging a part still under manufacture warranty. I would highly recommend Peter for regular service and repairs.

My air conditioning unit was failing and I dreaded having to install a new unit however I know I can always call Peter who is very responsive and timely. Regardless of when I call him, he responds and gets to me very quickly. He installed the new unit and it is functioning great!

My a/c unit quit working and I wanted to make sure I could call someone who was trustworthy, fair and reliable. I called a company a friend recommended and the a/c tech said the compressor was bad. Just to make sure, I called Sunrise Cooling and Heating to confirm the first company's findings. I had been referred to Peter, the owner of Sunrise by another friend of mine and he came out to check my a/c unit. He was the 2nd person I called to make sure the a/c was needing to be replaced. He was very nice and we clicked immediately. I knew he was the one to do the job because of his demeanor, friendliness and, he was the owner of the company. He did a very professional job replacing my outside unit and the condensor in the attic. He was able to install the unit at my convenience and the job went very smoothly. My air conditioner stopped working and the upstairs was about 82 degrees. I called Pete and informed him of what was going on. He asked some questions and said they had eight calls to get to that day, and it may be late that day or early the next morning before he could get to us. He then overheard my elderly mother in the background and asked if we had visitors. I told him my parents were in from Michigan for a visit. He then exclaimed that elderly people can't put up with the heat and he would call me back in 20 minutes to let me know he could get to our home. Pete did not call us back, he pulled up in the driveway himself to see if he could fix the problem. He came in, reviewed the system and identified the problem. He found that some wires had rubbed the outside coating off and it caused the system to short out. He fixed the wires, replaced the fuse, and then checked both systems since he was there. In the heat of the summer, with multiple calls, Pete was able to come out within an hour and get our system back up and running. Just awesome!We have used Sunrise prior to this past visit and they have always been on time, and have never tried to sell us up on parts or repairs we did not need.
I recommend this company to every one of my friends as often as possible.

He does an excellent job. He doesn't try to sell you something that you don't need. He is efficient.

We called them out on a Sunday, they diagnosed the problem and replaced the coil by three o'clock next afternoon. they showed up on time , their work was professional, neat and prompt.

I know Peter is very honest and to me that is the most important thing. He never tries to sell me something I don't need. He is just a very nice man and I have been very pleased.

I found the company on Angieslist and had the company come out to access the condition of the air conditioning system of an old home I purchased from an estate. The owner came out and gave me a detailed list of items that need repair and/or service. The work was completed efficiently and with good quality materials. Since that time, my home exterior unit stopped cooling last summer and the owner replaced the part in my unit by 11 AM the next day than $150. This company takes the business of heating and cooling seriously and the owner is sincere in giving quality service at great prices.

They were very competent.
