Customer service is bad, rude and short with me.

Went very well. I highly recommend these people. Our pool was full of algae last week on Sept. 2 and they had it looking clear and beautiful for the Labor Day weekend. Still looks beautiful and clear. Even after a weekend full of a lot of people swimming.

Arrived on time and completed the work after checking that everything was working ok. Professional, pleasant. I also have this company do weekly chemicals. They are reliable and my pool has been in balance for years.

This company is very reasonable. They offer weekly pool maintenance and will repair anything. They will give you an honest price and they're not going to just give you the run around. If they cant do it, they'll be honest and offer suggestions on how to best fix the issue. There was a time I was away from my home for a month and they checked on my pool weekly while I was away. During that time, someothing wasn't done correctly, but they made it right and fixed what had went wrong. They're also courteous about our home and my pets. I have four dogs and the maintenance men would remember to close the gates when leaving the pool area so my beloved pets did not get loose. Due to my high level of satisfaction with the quality of their work, I never feel bad writing the check for their services.

Not good. He inadvertently left the backwash on and when the pump kicked in early morning it literally emptied the pool into yard where landscapers were suppose to work. Frustration is although we called to report the incident, they failed to return call (due to miscommunication). Not until I called again did they finally relay my message. Had to run water for more than 7 hours. I had cancelled pool cleaning in past because they had left water on and pool had over flowed and was only using chemical service. Very disappointed.

This was really startling. We've used them in the past and have been happy with their work, and decided last week to have them do some preventative maintenance over the winter - replace a trichlor (chlorine) tablet feeder. We'd spoken to their service guy the last time they were here, and the guy agreed it should be done and they could do it. When we called last week to set up an appointment we were told it would be "tomorrow or the next day," but no one ever came or called. We then spoke to them yesterday and were told they don't do trichlor feeders because they only use liquid feeders in their service work, though we didn't understand what that had to do with their refusal to work on them. Though we have been happy with their work in the past, we'll be moving on to another provider now - someone we can understand.

I didn't like their service. They left my water on for like four days filling up the pool and forgot to tell me. The water bill went up like 500%. Then they did it again and I didn't discover it until water started flooding my patio. They need to train their employees to be a little more focused on their job. When my bill went up, they didn't even offer any compensation.

I've had a great experience with them so far. I've had about four companies come out, and I liked them the best. He was the most business-like, normal-looking and reasonable. He's professional, very upright and is more like the type of person I'm used to doing business with. He looks professional. I told him I was in no hurry. He gave me the approximate time, but he couldn't make it, so he called and discussed it and I told him that was fine, because I'm not in a hurry. He's kept in touch while we've waited.

I attempted to contact this provider on three occasions. The first time I sent them a message through Angie's List with no response. The second time, my husband called and requested service on the pool and they claimed they do not adjust chemicals for the winter months. The third time I called and asked for someone to call me back, because we just moved into a new home with a pool and would like it to be serviced. I have never received a call back. I do not recommend this company as they were unresponsive to our requests.

Moved into a new home with a pool. Exciting times. Chlorine was 10 times the maximum acceptable level... off the test strip. Owner had jacked up the levels so bad, the water had to be drained. Sunray came in and made it right. No new owner wants to have to drain the pool and pay for repairs. But if it has to be done, it has to be done right. Sunray has been spot on with their service and advice. We have them for weekly service now. Very happy. The pool is safe, kids are safe. Peace of mind.

I was very happy with their work and I was told that the tiles wouldn't fall off for at least two years from my pool but three months later the tiles were falling off. They have been very good about coming and plastering them back on. My two year contract ends in March and I called again, they said they are going to come out and replace both tiles. They said they've got some new sort of plaster they want to try and they are hoping that it will work and I do to because I'm thinking I have to have the pool totally redone again. When I call and ask them to come to fix the tiles they do and they honor their contract. They are coming again, I'm on their list to come and glue them back on. It doesn't cost anything because it is covered by the contract. The contract to retile my pool and fix a few things was very reasonable. I'm sort of disappointed in the outcome but I'm sticking with them because they've been very good about honoring their contract.

Weekly pool cleaning. They DO NOT use chlorine tablets. My full service IS NOT full service. Walls of pool have scum, and my pool surface- grunnite, is being stripped. Never happened before my pool is only 5 yrs old. Currently looking for new company.

Contracted Sunray Pool service for weekly pool service. They started their service on the day they said that they would. Their technician was very conscious of doing a good job. He was efficient in use of his time and completeness. Technician left notes on chemicals added and any other repairs that might be anticipated in the future.

I have used this company for at least 5 years and have been very happy with their service. If there is a problem (due to excess rain changing chemical levels) they immediately come out and fix the problem for free. I have used them in spring to clean and vacumn the pool for leaves, etc. They have fixed my Polaris when it broke, replaced an old broken pump and installed a timer. There was additional cost for this but I am very happy with their services.

Never again - after replacing broken part didn't get pool water back in shape. Actually told me to go get water tested at another place.

They could have sold me a new one but fixed the existing one at much less cost. I used them a year ago for a much bigger job and both times outstanding staff from installer to billing and great service/price.

Appointment time promptness can be an issue, so be prepared. No reflection on the company, but summers in San Antonio, high demand for services, and things at previous appointments taking longer because they take the time to do it right, might cause your schedule to slip a bit.

No show, no call twice. Called after each no show and was told service was for the following day. Maybe once I got it wrong but not twice.

My contact for the pool repairs and the General Manager of Sunray, Ralph Fikes, came by my home to appraise the condition and give us a quote for work he felt was required or requested by us. After the initial written quote of $3800 was agreed upon, the price quote was raised to $6800. We re-negotiated and settled at $5800 with a 2 year written warranty on work done. The next issue was that although not on the contract, the bottom, main pool drain was plugged and covered over by the workers. We had experianced no problems with the function of our filtration/pump system, had no evidence of leaks, and as far as the drain was concerned we only specified that we wanted a new code compliant child safety drain cover( why ask for one if the drain did not work?) It is now just under 2 years later.We have had to re-drain the pool twice now to facilitate re-repairs of work performed. We cannot use the pool pump now because the only dain left is the skimmer and water is leaking so fast thru both the "repaired" cracks, and the large gaps that now exist between the re-set tiles and side of the pool that we cannot maintain the water level necessary for the pump to function. Our beautiful, functional swimming pool has been transformed into a mosquito pond. I contacted Sunray and spoke to Alan Fuqua (the supposed owner of the business), explained what had been going on and about the problems we are currently having with the pool and invited him over to see for himself , and although he agreed to come by, he neither showed up nor called. The 2 year warranty should still be in effect.

We had some leaks at our pool pump. Called the office and they scheduled for someone to come out and estimate the cost of the repairs. They showed up when they said they would be there and gave my husband an estimate. He approved the work and the repairs were made. We were very pleased. They also do our chemicals very week and we have always been very pleased.

They are very reliable. We are very pleased with their service. They are reasonable fees.

They have been very cooperative with me in working around my time frame as I must leave the 4 dogs in the house for the approximate time they will be there. In the winter, the cost declines as they only add chemicals and do not clean the pool. Overall, my pool is in much better shape than when I tried to maintain it myself.

My initial call to Sunray Pool went very well. I had neglected my pool a bit and it needed a good cleaning first. Sunray's tech was very courteous and really knew what he was doing. Afterwards the regular chemical service has been great. They have not missed a treatment date and my pool has never looked better.

His crew was very professional on the resurfacing and checked with us on various situations that needed attention and made the necessary changes and improvements. We have used the chemical service for many years satisfactorily. They have also come promptly when needed to do any necessary repairs to pump and filter, correctly and for reasonable prices. They have been a very reliable contractor.
