SUNDEK OF SAN ANTONIO

VERY SLIPPERY WHEN WET!  Sundek is not a safe surface for around the pool.  We installed the product as an upgraded to our pool deck during construction because it looked great.  Over the summer, we had several people slip and fall, just getting out of the pool.  We contacted Sundek about the problem.  They emailed my a copy of their warranty and stated slippery isn't covered under their warranty.  They quoted $500 to reseal the deck with a grit to make it not slippery.  I do not recommend this company or product.

We, too were referred to Sundek by our pool company and very satisfied by outcome....but not before we had to lose our cool with the schedulers. We were constantly back-shelved and workers who said they would be back next day never showed. We called and were rudely told the workers are not the schedulers....office was. Problems solved when pool company intervened. We do love our porch though and we would use them again just due to quality.

Difficult time being able to see a finished product full in place sample. This was one part of a large project and timing was an issue. When the decking was ready to be scheduled, we felt rushed to fit their schedule. Extremely pressured to "authorize" design and color---"timing and application is critical" The finished product is way off from the sample color, even after we had them inspect and try to correct.

The quality of work was good. I did not care for their lack of clean up.

We were referred to them by our pool service company. We did have some problems with them. From the time they gave me an estimate until the time they actually showed up was about 2 months. They would not respond to my phone calls until they actually decided to take this job. After they decided to take my job on is when they actually started to take my calls and answer any questions I had. The work they did was excellent.

BECAUSE OF THE BIG DEMAND ON THEIR SERVICES, THE COMPANY RAN FOUR WEEKS BEHIND ON STARTING THE JOB. THEY, HOWEVER, INFORMED US OF THIS PROBLEM. ONCE THEY GOT STARTED, THEY DID IT IN THREE DAYS, AS EXPECTED AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS ONE WE ARE VERY PROUD OF.
