actual roof work was lengthy, hang in there, this company does excellent work.
TPO technology for a residential roof is new. I will update this review with my findings.
Horrible. We have had numerous leaks. Mr. Torrez says that someone from his company needs to be present each time someone accesses the roof. So we scheduled him to meet our new AC company out her today @ 12:30 and told him we are closed 1/2 a day so call the cell phone and we will let you in. Mr. Torrez came and went to the front door which was locked because we are closed and then left. We called Mr. Torrez to find out where he was and said we were closed so he let. He said he had a job that would take about 10 minutes and then he would come over. We have been waiting with our AC person here for over 2 hours and Mr. Torrez will not answer his phone calls or return txt messages. I called the main # at the office and they said they would try to get in touch with him but I still have not heard from them. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that someone from the roofing company needs to be here to supervise each and every time someone accesses the roof. Our AC units are all located on the roofs of these 2 buildings and on a regular basis they are serviced every 3 months. What I am I to do for my business if there is and AC/Heat problem and a unit(s) are not working. Wait for days until Mr. Torrez can fit it into his busy schedule to fit us in and then ignore me? I will absolutely never EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!!
"The only reason we asked to be present when the a/c techs service the roof top units is because when Rusty at Cambridge Contracting , LLC had the maintenance contract his a/c techs did work on the units and penetrated the roof system that we installed and causing major leaks . We asked Rusty several times to let us know when his techs were going to service the units so one of our techs could be there to prevent these issues.. I explained to Removed mbr info on the phone after the last incident that the a/c techs penetrated the roof system and didn't advise us , we fixed the penetrated roof system as a courtesy. Going forward... Removed mbr info assistant called us at stephens roofing to make an appointment for us to meet their a/c guy at 12:30 pm Friday 11/20/15, I was there at 12:30 pm and waited for the a/c tech till 1:15 pm no one showed up , Removed mbr info did call me just before I arrived at my next appointment and i explained to Removed mbr info that I waited for their a/c tech at the scheduled time and he did not show , I also explained that I had another appointment and did not know how long it would take cause it was a new account, but we would be glad to meet their a/c guy at the buildings at another time . All we ask is that they call the office and make an appointment.. I hope Removed mbr info understands that we are just trying to protect her investment in the roof system we installed for them .."
I called repeatedly and did get to speak with the estimator once. She was checking that they had a signed authorization to do the work. Was supposed to call me back and never did. Days went by so I called again. A gentleman answered and was very nice and apologetic. He promised to look into it and get back to me that same afternoon. I never heard from him.
More days went by and I called back again and spoke to a supervisor. She looked into my file and told me the job was scheduled for the following Friday. Great, I thought it would be done. Friday came and went and as far as I could tell nobody showed up and the work was not done. No phone call or explanation.
I called that afternoon and and asked the receptionist if she could verify that anyone had been to my home to do the work. She checked and said it had been scheduled and she would check with someone and verify the work was done and she would call me back that day. She never called me back. I never received a bill so I assume they did not show up and do the work as promised.
I just called again over a week later. I asked to speak to a supervisor then I sat on hold for over 11 minutes before hanging up. I called back and explained what I wanted and was told that the supervisor would call me back. I'm not holding my breath. I called back a couple of times just before the 5:00 closing time and got an answering machine. I did not get the promised call back. Again.
Maybe the small job wasn't interesting enough for them but eventually I'm going to replace the roof. It won't likely be with them. The shame is that I believe they are a good company. Good reputation in the city and with people I trust. I just can't fathom the horrendous customer service in my case. Very frustrating. I just want the repairs done and they just don't seem interested in my business.
