Lawn Tool Repair
Was told this was an issue they were having. When I picked it up, took home, went to of town for a month, tried to start when I got back, GAS still leaking. Took back, they were going to charge me again for repair because it was past 30 days. Did not charge me, but when I picked it up, took home, put gas into tank, still would not start, but not leaking. Took back - to be told at that time - DO NOT USE GASOLINE! Why didn't they tell me that the 1st two times?

Shopping for a free standing induction range.
Admittedly a hard to find item.
But, that's not the problem here.
Found one, a closeout model at the Rolling Oaks Sears.
You may well ask why I'm posting this at the 410 store site. I'll get to that.
Wanting to see more of a selection I went to the main store on 410.
They had nothing to show.
After visiting one of San Antonio's premium kitchen stores, who also had nothing in stock, I called the number the salesperson at Rolling Oaks gave me.
The sales person was on commission and my intent was to order the closeout item from her and have it deliveredThis would have been a $2,000+ sale.
Sadly it was not to be.
The phone number turned out to be a central phone bank for all San Antonio Sears. After jumping through numerous voice mail hoops I was disconnected.
Three times.
By then I was unhappy and asked for a supervisor.
People started trying their best at that point, getting my phone number and promising to contact the commission sales person about the induction range in question.
No one ever called back.

Lawn Tool Repair, Auto Service
After the first repairman fixed the bolt and got the new blade installed, he apparently did not put the belt that turns the blades on correctly. The next day when I mowed with the lawn mower, it sounded like a very loud bucket of bolts and then the blades disengaged themselves, and there was nothing I could do to get them re-engaged. I called Sears back, and they were so great to send another repairman that same afternoon! He was a more seasoned lawn mower repairman and told me about the improper placement of the belt by the first (and quot;rookieand quot;) repairman. The belt had shredded, and he replaced it with with a new one, and some little spring that makes the blades go up and down was missing, so he also replaced that, too, both at no additional charge. He then drove the mower around a little bit to test the blades, and all was well. Both repairmen were very professional and personable. It was frustrating, though, to have to call Sears again the very next day to fix a new problem. But, it was also very nice that Sears sent someone out that very day. At this time, the mower works great, and the second repairman advised us on what kind of mower to buy the next time we were in need of one.

Auto Service
They were pretty reasonably priced and the manager was very fair. They resolved my air conditioning problem. They went back in and did some additional troubleshooting on something and found the problem in my steering column and they did not charge me any extra labor. They put about 23 hours of laboring on it. I thought that was pretty good. The manager's name is Joe.

I personally haven't had the experience since my husband does it, but I guess it goes in okay. You have to leave them money down to look at it, they call and tell you how much it's going to be, and then you say yes or no. I guess that's normal. I guess they do a good job and the mower is working. We don't have any complaints. I mean everybody's prices are high.
