Monday, March 19, I called San Antonio Shower doors and made an appointment for a representative to come the following day to estimate the cost of repairing or replacing our shower door. Their representative, Hank, arrived precisely on time Tuesday, took a look at the shower, determined that he could fix it on the spot, did so immediately, and left with no charge for the service. We could not have been more pleased.

As expected. Quick measurements, and two weeks later, a quick installation.

San Antonio Shower Doors did a great job replacing our existing shower glass and door. They were punctual for both appointments. First to make the measurements and second to install the glass and new door. The shower looks great with the new glass and door. The installers cleaned up thoroughly - even made sure the shower pan was cleaned up before they left. We are very pleased and recommend San Antonio Shower Doors if you are looking to upgrade to frameless glass. Note: the tape is temporary until the caulking has cured.

I had four different companies provide bids for this job and George with San Antonio Shower Doors was the only vendor who actually brought samples of his products when he came to measure and prepare his estimate. They were not the least expensive, but they were not very much more than the lowest price. When it came time to install the product, William and Seth were on time and did a great job on the installation. George joined them to provide oversight and assistance. The job was done professionally and looks great. They took extra care to fit different sizes of molding around the glass to get the best fit to retain the steam.

Can't speak highly enough of their service. Arrived early for both the estimate and the install. I never had to call them as they were proactive through the whole process. Having dealt with a number of different trades on a remodel, I have to say they were the best! Highly recommend their company.

First, need to preface this review by stating that I did not hire SA Shower Doors directly.  Although they did measure and install frameless 72 inch glass shower doors in my guest bathroom, it was done so as part of an overall bathroom remodel project done by another service provider.  As my remodel project was nearing an end, the provider came out and measured for the frameless glass shower doors.  While here, they were very thorough in explaining the types of doors, types of glass and coatings, different heights available, hardware choices, etc.  After measurements were taken, they indicated it would take about a week.  It actually took 3 weeks for the doors to come in and be installed.  Although disappointed about having to wait so long, must say, though, it was worth the wait.  They are stunning, and the two installers who came to my house were perfectionists.  Even bringing in a shop vac to vacuum any dust they may create while installing.  While watching the final sealing caulk being applied, I noticed how painstakingly careful they were to wipe every drop off the glass after applying the strip around the edges where the glass met the tile.  After running out of the paper they brought, I was amazed to see them use the shirts they were wearing to continue to wipe away streaks of the gel caulk.  That is dedication to doing a good job!!  Well done guys.

Excellent. I did not think I could afford the surround due to an estimate given to me by another contractor, which was double. The did a wonderful job including a special glass treatment to prevent water marks making cleaning easier. The glass is thick and the door is really nice as it opens inward and outward. I am very pleased. The sales person, Mark, who came to my home was very informative and pleasant to work with. No pressure and surprisingly no deposit. I did not pay until the job was completed. Very professional company.

The quality of the installation was very good. This provider does not have any inventory to work from and had to order everything from an out of town supplier. This resulted in a later installation date than first promised. I had to make the phone calls to this contractor to check up on status and I think he should have been the one calling me.. He did, however, respond professionally and truthfully as best he knew at the time.

We got great service from San Antonio Shower door. We initially had the estimate done a year ago but due to some other house issues that came up, we had to wait. When we called back, they still had our measurements and estimate in the system and quoted us the same price. They came out to make sure that the measurement where still the same and that nothing had shifted. Once that was done, they ordered the glass and came out to install. The people who came out to do the install were very punctual and courteous. We would definitely use them again and would recommend to friends.

This provider should be used only when time is not critical. The product is of high quality, Mark (owner) did my measurements and took my order. However, it took two appointments to actually get them over to my house as they had the cancel the first as a result a previous job that went into extra-innings. Christine, the scheduling person will be the one you primarily work with. She seems over-worked and over-whelmed but gets an and quot;Aand quot; for effort! Warning: Mark will disappear off the face of the planet once the order is placed; good luck ever talking to him again. A previous rater stated his customer service skills need work, I agree! The installer was a great guy and very trustworthy; I allowed him in my home in my absence to complete the job. One panel had to be reordered as it was wrong; all in all two trips to complete the work. The price is great!! I am happy with the product and the company expressed a sincere desire to ensure that happened. However, be ready to have your patience tried, I was as result of reading the previous ratings which were spot on.

first installer had several issues and after company sent someone out agreed that job needed to be redone. it took about 3 weeks to order new parts and one morning i received a call asking if they could come back out but that they didnt have all the parts needed for the job. i requested they wait until all of the needed parts were in and then do it all at one time, instead of multiple trips out. after second install things looked better but there were several leaks and they had to come out numerous times to find and fix them all. while they eventually did fix the leaks and came out everytime we called overall was not impressed with the company. they did give 100$ discount for all the trouble, but would have rather been issue free.

Their work is professional and the quality is excellent!!! Love both the glass shower look and beveled mirror. This company was recommended by Robin Hunt, designer (who helped us with our DIY master bath....recommend her too!). San Antonio Shower Doors does have the best price....all around!!! We shopped around so we know.
DOs: DIYers...shower tile must be in with slight slanted angle on curb (if you have curb). From first call, it takes about a week for guy to come take measurements and give you a price. Then, tack on another two and a half weeks to get doors/mirror for install.

The day they came out to measure, the owner Mark, gave me an estimate on site... which I loved. I didn't have to wait a week like the other estimates I was getting. The price was reasonable. They were also giving a free clear shield upgrade or a 10% discount from the home magazine, which we decided to take the upgrade. They said it would be approximately 2 weeks. This was mid-october. The first time they came for install, they were ontime... Roger is the main install technician. He is professional and punctual. There was a problem with the hinges so they had to stop install and take their things and order universal hinges. This was due to measurement error. They said it would be about a week. It was almost two weeks before they came out again... same crew... punctual and professional. This time there was a problem w/ the size of the door (due to measurement error). I began to question why there were so many problems with the measuring and Roger asked who came out to do the initial measurement/estimate. I told him Mark, which he then told me he is actually the owner. I did not know this before. Now, he said it would take 11/2 to 2 weeks for the new door to come in... which put us at the week of Thanksgiving. I had family coming into town and would be using the guest bathroom facilities... I was upset and asked them if they could put a rush order on it. They said they could and would let us know when they got the door in. It was 2 and a 1/2 weeks before we decided to call them. They had not given us a courtesy call or a call to schedule install. I asked about a discount because of all the inconvenience of them having to come three times, and it not being done by Thanksgiving which is one of the main reasons we used them because of the estimated time of install. Mark, the owner, would not speak to my husband or myself. Roger, the technician, had to call us. He said the owner doesn't speak to the customers about that stuff. He said the owner doesn't like to give discounts. I told him we can still cancel the order and then they would be stuck w/ a custom shower door and frame. They are here in my bathroom, as I write this, and Roger showed up this morning punctual and professional. He said he was able to get $200 off from the original price of $1450. I hope it looks great and so far, there are no problems. The owner needs to take a class in customer service and satisfaction.... great product, though. I'm just sad it has taken so long to actually get done.

I have been trying for over a month to get them to come out to fix this, but they won't return my calls.

The company came to the house on a Saturday afternoon to measure our shower door and to show us the glass samples and metal finishes. They were prompt in their appointment and prepared, and professional. The downside is that it took 2 weeks to deliver since the product comes shipped from Denver. Once it arrived, they took 45 minutes to install the product. They did a very good job.
