Safari Quality Painting

Anthony predicted 3 days, but finished in two. Bathroom looks great.

We used this provider several years ago and were well pleased, wrote a review on Angie's List. We contacted Anthony again, set up an appointment for 10/31. No show; he called on 11/1, asked to reschedule. November 3 he called at 10:35, couldn't remember whether the appointment was for 10:30 or 2:30. We returned the call, told him the appointment was for 2:30, never heard from him again.

The Anthony Alvear (Safari Quality Paintng) is a professional's professional. He could hold a seminar in the very skilled task of painting, as his work is superb. At the conclusion of his almost three weeks at our home, we called him the "Leonardo De Vinci" of the local painting industry. There are many qualities to admire in him. First, he is honest and forthright. He gives a complete and detailed written estimate of exactly what the job will entail and its cost PRIOR to any work done, so that the homeowner can approve or disapprove. Upon approval, he shows up promptly and works diligently the entire day. He is always smiling and tries very hard to please in every task performed. Mr. Alvear is extremely skilled in many areas, not just painting, and we saw this in the carpentry work that he performed. He is able to fix almost any problem that confronts him. His painting is without peer--we consider him one of the best painters we have hired in the 43 years since we built our home. In additon, we noted to our delight that Mr. Alvear improved any problem on his own without our asking him to do so--he looked out and did what was in our best interest. In the final analysis, at the end of his almost three week job at our home, our house was greatly improved and sparkling due to his skill, integrity, work ethic and complete committment to please his client. Anthony was great. He gave us an estimate, we negotiated a starting time - we had stuff going on - and made the deal. He called on the starting date (because he had a family issue) to say that he would be a little late, but wasn't much later than he had originally estimated. He does a great job, masking/covering things that don't need to be painted. We had a border around the ceiling in the dining room; no paint marks - it looks like he installed it after he finished painting. Anthony was recommended by our plumber after the plumber (Steven Mims - great guy!) had to cut a hole in our drywall to repair a leak. The drywall repair is exceptional! Also, Anthony removed wallpaper from our two upstairs bathrooms; I had tried and failed. He did a tremendous job both removing the wallpaper and painting the bathrooms. We highly recommend Anthony - a hard working and honest person. The downstairs looks like when we moved in; we'll hire him shortly to paint upstairs.
