Ross Professional Services

We used their online appointment form to set up our first lawn mowing with Ross professional lawn services, also known as TX lawn rangers. They missed their appointment day, and never called to let us know why. I had to call them and reschedule for today. Once again they failed to come and mow our lawn. They offered to reschedule for tomorrow. I will not waste my time with them anymore.

It never went

We prepaid to have our yard cut...They were supposed to come cut our yard on a Saturday June 15th...no one showed up - no call-Monday my husband calls and texts...they replied they would cut it Monday again no one showed and the same response on Tuesday...no show...I post on their website and sent a text message and finally get a response on June 18th...asking if I wanted a refund or for them to come out...I emailed back that I want a refund...as of today...July 8th...no refund and no more communication! Their website says they are BBB accredited...they are not. They have a rating of "F"!!!

Provider never contacted me to confirm appointment. I cancelled the appointment after not hearing back from provider.

First, I was impressed by the website and scheduled an appt, got a confirmation by email for the appt. Lawn service for $65. After this all of their services were a failure. On the day of the appt, they did not show, first I received a phone call stating they were running late and moved the appt back by 2 hours, then they still did not show. The following day I received an email apologizing that they were willing to offer a free front yard winter grass. I explained my front yard was very small considering I live in a cul-de-sac. I was in need a row of shrubs to be trimmed and leaves to be picked up. The following email then states the cost will be over $150. After talking to neighbor about Angie's List, it prompted me to sign up and found a reputable lawn service, Cortez Brothers Landscaping were here the folowing day, mowed, trimmed, the bushes, picked up the leaves for $85, all in one hour and outstanding service.

We've had over 10 communications and each time Chaurice was professional but gave show dates that ultimately did not come to fruitition. several were accompanied by "firm" and "promise" but my grass still isn't cut. AND, I had to reach out to the company each time to ask why no one showed up to cut my grass and collect the leaves.

I really appreciated their communication with me. They communicated with me online which was comforting. They sent me an email that said they were coming the next day and when they finished the work, they sent me an email that said they have done it. They took pictures and emailed me the pictures to prove that they had done it, because I was out when they did the work. So it was awesome and I would use them again. I felt like I could really trust them. I was able to pay ahead of time using PayPal. It was very convenient.

Originally, I called and got a phone quote, tentatively setting up an appointment for the following week, offering them the use of my equipment hoping that would lower the quote. They called back later on the same day, and quoted an even lower price, using their own equipment. Afraid that that that lower bid would be too low, I requested them to come out and look before solidifying the bid. They got back with me on Sunday, and he came out ready to work, even though it was supposed to be on a weekday later on in the week. I was thrilled, because I was going to be unavailable on Monday. Also, they did the work on the agreed lower bid. They were done in about an hour, and did an excellent job. I intend on having them do my lawn on a regular basis. Ross was very personable and professional, and a hard worker, and that really impressed me.
