River City Roofing & Remodeling

They were roofing subcontractor hired by our builder. We hired an inspector to look at building defects before builder was finished. He indicated that parapet coping had gaps and wasn't installed properly. River City's owner had crew bend the coping, but that was the extent. After stucco cracks started appearing on corners, River City was called -- the owner came out and said it was a stucco problem. We've replaced the improperly installed coping. When we started repairing stucco cracks, we've discovered that corner framing is rotten - we now know the parapet coping has allowed water to enter the walls over the last 6 years and corner framing has to be replaced. I would not recommend this roofer if you have a "flat" roof and having parapet caps or coping. This problem could have been addressed six years ago, if the owner had been conscientious.

Work was completed as scheduled, even though the temperature was more than 100 degrees.

They gave us honest feedback about what we were about to do.  They are hardworking.  It is a good price.

River City Roofing Placed an 8and quot; flue pipe for a Vent A Hood install that needed to be done on our Tiled roof. I had been been dealing with another roofer who only communicated mainly with me on email. I was trying to coordinate the roofing and the HVAC workers to complete this project and I called and spoke to River City Roofing and they were very responsive and come out to take a better look at the scope of my project. I was given a date that the work could be completed and that they would cut the hole in the roof and install the flue for the HVAC workers to connect the duct work to the flue they install. They recommended a better placement of the flue and I am glad they did as the place where the HVAC personnel wanted to put the hole would have caused much water leaks if it rained heavy. As we all know we had record breaking rain the following Friday and Saturday and not a drop of water came in our attic. The HVAC guys showed up Saturday afternoon and finished connecting the duct work to the flue they installed.
I would use River City Roofing again in a heartbeat as they were priced reasonable and they did an excellent job on project we had. Although it wasn't a very large project...they still treated our need as a priority and therefore I felt they deserved the business.

Went very well. Job took about 8 days, which is what they told us. One thing to know if you are installing a flat roof: Do what they say, and wait for NO chance of rain. (which we did, had to wait quite a while) Also, be prepared, if your ceiling inside does not have a drop down with sheetrock, to have dust and gravel inside your house. We covered everything with sheets in those areas. We shot those areas that have exposed air ducts in the house (the ceiling is the roof slats) with a temperature laser, and before the new roof, readings were close to 100 degrees. After the new roof, dropped 20 plus degrees. We are very happy.

They were reasonably priced and they got the job done.

They were half price of another roofing company in town.

Monty, who provided the estimates for both jobs, was very personable and explained the issues and our choices very well. They were very reliable, their prices were competitive, and the quality of their work was excellent. We would definitely feel comfortable using them again in the future.

Everything was great. We had a minor issue and they came right out and fixed it. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had another roofing company that came out and did absolutely nothing. But Monty Hamilton came out here without a fuss and fixed my roof. I had a buddle sky light and he replaced that. From the street it looks great. I would recommend him and use him again.
