Our experience with this company was nothing short of fantastic. I knew from the first phone call that I was going to like this company. Josh was very nice, thorough and kept his promises. When they came to inspect the roof I was just expecting Josh to come out but was surprised to see Chuck, the owner of Rio Blanco. Chuck was so knowledgeable, very transparent and even threw in some upgrades "on the house". Some of the extras he added in were redoing the roof on our shed, upgrading the shingles to ATLAS brand (which are awesome and beautiful), and they put all new turbines and whatever other pipes come out of the roof AND spray painted them to match the roof. Needless to say, above and beyond our expectations. The day came for the installation and we were thrilled. We were told they would be there by 8am. but Chuck had already been by at 6:15am (like a ninja) to drop some supplies off. Then came back with his crew at 7:30 sharp! His crew was so nice, very polite and did the best job. I was a little nervous about all of the nails that could be hiding in the grass but the crew themselves did about 6 sweeps, Josh came out again later that evening to do a sweep and he also came back the next day to do yet another magnetic sweep. They cared as much as we cared and that's all you can really ask for in a company. We are really happy that we chose Rio Blanco to install our roof. I know we wouldn't be this thrilled about the results if we settled with another company. We highly recommend Rio Blanco for your roofing needs.

Rio Blanco did a great job on my roof, from start to finish. I would highly recommend them for your roof replacement. A little background: First, I submitted a request for bid submissions on one of the home improvement referral sites (don't recall which one). Rio Blanco was the only one of the providers on that site who called me back and provided a bid! Not sure about the other providers on that site, but if they can't even respond to your inquiry, then how good of a job would they do? Because I was paying out of pocket, and not with insurance, I was very concerned about getting a quality roof at a very good price. It was also important to get a licensed and insured company in order to protect me from liability. I have to do a lot of research before I can make a big decision like this. I ended up reaching out to about 7 different companies, and ended up getting 5 bids. After doing my research, I had to call each company back with questions and to clarify specifics. Jim Beasley at Rio Blanco was the most proactive respondent, was patient with all my questions, and pointed me to some unbiased resources for additional information, which all helped me become comfortable with my decision to use them. This included making sure we had the adequate combination of ventilation for the roof between ridge vents and dome vents. When they came to do my roof, I assumed, due to the size of my home, that it would take at least a day-and-a-half, if not two full days. Jim had told me they would get it done in one day, but I assumed that was just "salesman" talk, and it would take longer. To my surprise, they started taking the roof off around 7:45 am, and by 5:30 pm, they were cleaning up the debris around the house. By about 6:30 pm, they were completely done! The roofing team did a great job on the roof. It looks great!! And they did a very thorough job of cleaning up the shingle pieces, the "felt" scraps, and the nails. I've only found 1 nail, and just two small shingle pieces, so I consider their clean-up work first rate! I hope I don't have to use them again anytime soon, but if I need roofing work done, I will DEFINITELY call Rio Blanco!

Let me tell you, I am not a fan of writing reviews, but I think it a responsibility to let home owners know about critical elements that can SEVERELY affect their quality of life and safety. If Rio Blanco did "okay", I wouldn't bother, but this was definitely one of the best decisions my family could have made for our home. Absolutely TOP of the list! Just purchased a home that needed a new roof, so: time, money, and patience were all in short supply. Seeing some of the work in the area we were staying in caused me to ask around as to whom performed the work. Rio Blanco came up repeatedly. A few other companies came up with some Google searches, but when I needed an estimate immediately, Rio Blanco's company manager came out himself that afternoon free of charge. He drafted up an estimate to provide the sellers and ourselves and left us alone to figure out what we wanted to do. With some shopping around, the price couldn't be beat (remember, we could see the product with multiple roofs around us). Even the sellers tried to find a "cheaper" bid and struck out. Working with Rio to pick out the roof type, quality, and dates of installation was extremely easy in what everyone describes as a very stressful situation. The total time for a 3,000+ square foot roof (MULTIPLE angles/steep pitches) was 2.2 days (that includes positioning materials the day prior to start and FULL clean-up of all scraps, debris, and presence). Our roof looks AWESOME with all new pieces on top and even replaced all of the old and worn plywood underneath. There is something to be said about customer service and quality of work in this world. We would have been open to higher price for this quality (not mad at the price though...hahaha). Do yourselves a favor, do your research, but know that RIo Blanco will be at the top of your list.

Getting a new roof put on our rental property was a breeze with Rio Blanco Roofing! I called them and within a week the roof was done! I worked with Jim and he was friendly and professional. He took care of the insurance for me and the house looks great now! Kit England and Rio Blanco roofing were awesome to work with in racing my roof due to hail damage. I initially contacted Kit based on the great reviews and he did not disappoint. He was always on time and very responsive to any questions. There was a couple of days delay because of weather, but Kit contacted me early in the day to keep me informed. His crew was professional and did a great job with cleanup. I definitely recommend Kit and Rio Blanco if you want a 5 star roofing company.

It went excellent. Kit explained everything that was going to happen to include the insurance procedure. I had never filed an insurance claim as since Kit worked in insurance in the past he was able to explain everything to me. The work was done one time and they cleaned up after roof was completed. It cost a little more than I expected but quality always does. I would highly recommend them to anyone needed any roof repairs or replacement.

Working with Rio Blanco and Kit England was a dream come true. He made what could be an anxiety ridden experience, easy to deal with. The workers arrived when they said they would and Kit kept me updated on everything that was happening. All trash and any touch up that needed to take place on and the around the house was immediately taken care of. It was a wonderful experience working with Rio Blanco. After our last roofing contractor did such a poor installation job we did a lot of research before selecting another roofer. Rio Blanco had nothing but good reviews and deservedly so. The work was quick, professional, and well priced. Due to weather the roof replacement had to start a couple of days later than expected but Kit called and kept us up to date on everything that was going on. I would recommend this company to anyone asking. Kit is great through the whole process from estimate, shingle selection, install explanation, and clean up. I really never thought replacing my roof could be an easy, comfortable experience. Thank you Kit and Rio Blanco roofing.

Kit (the owner) was very easy to communicate and work with, right from the start. He was honest in saying that because of the widespread damage in our area that the waiting time for service was a few months. We signed a contract and waited until it was "our turn"- Kit notified us the week before they began our project. He responded to emails, texts, and phone calls almost instantly. While his team was working on the roof it was discovered that some tree branches were low hanging, and Kit was concerned that they would damage the new roof. His team put our job on "hold" while we had the branches removed, and then they returned and finished the project the next week. Everything went smoothly and we are pleased with how nice the new roof looks. We're especially grateful that Kit handled most of the interaction with our insurance company regarding the prices, depreciation, etc.!!

Wanted local company to replace my roof. Wanted a company that too pride in every aspect of the job from start to finish. Didn't want a discount. Wanted the best job possible. Spent 3 months researching different companies. What a great crew that showed up to do the work. By putting tarps down to catch the nails and falling debris I knew immediately I made the right choice. Kit worked w my insurance estimate, and then filed papers w insurance to recover the depreciation for me. All around fantastic company and people. highly recommend without hesitation.

Worked around our business hours to replace the metal roof at my business. Oftentimes stayed late into the evening and for as long as there was light to complete the job, without charging me OT. Very professional, punctual and competent crew. Left facility clean and free of debris keeping me up-breast to all progress.

Replaced the roof at my house. The crew did not go as far as breaking a single twig of my landscape, Fast, professional and punctual. Again, as in the replacement of my business roof, they stayed late into the evening. Left my yard perfectly clean ad free of any roofing related debris. What a crew!

Kit England talked with me by phone telling me how to go about submitting a claim to my insurance company and then made an appointment to come visit and inspect the damaged roof/gutters. At that time he sat down with me sharing all the options and giving me samples to help decide what I wanted. With that completed he told me the date he expected the shingles to arrive and the time frame for the installation.Between that time and the time of installation I called him a couple of times or sent an email and he promptly returned my call or answered my email within a couple hours or less time frame.
On the morning of my installation Kit visited again to make sure I had no questions unanswered and to tell me the time his workers would arrive. When they came I met and talked with them. The installation took place in less than two days and the clean up afterwards was perfect. The workers were courteous, informed, and professional and I was very comfortable having them work at my house. Afterwards Kit called and sent emails along with receipts and information needed to help complete the insurance process.
I was very pleased with the job from the first conversation to completion and I recommend this company to anyone seeking a quality, professional job provided by professional, courteous, and friendly people.

Kit England, owner, spoke and met with me personally. He reviewed my insurance adjuster's estimate and let me know that he could complete the task of replacing my roof as specified by my insurer and provided me with a contract with exact cost. He gave me the date materials would be delivered and when the work would begin. He also offered suggestions for preparing the yard and driveway. His workers arrived on schedule, covered the AC unit, shrubbery and patio furniture before they began. When completed they cleaned up all debris, especially nails. The workers were very polite and respectful. Kit was very professional and kept in touch with me throughout the day. I am very pleased and highly recommend Rio Blanco.

Kit explained my various options, was forthright about the costs involved, and the work was scheduled and completed in a timely fashion. Based on prior experiences with roofers, two things stood out most from my experience with Kit and Rio Blanco. First, Kit was honest about the job costs, and very easy to work with. Second, the crew did an excellent job cleaning up after the job. In the several weeks since completion of the job, I have found ZERO nails/staples/etc. on my property. They did an outstanding job and a thorough clean up. Would definitely contact Kit again for future roofing work.

I am extremely satisfied with the job. The work was done for the price that the insurance company estimated and allowed. The shingles and other materials were delivered to my rooftop on the day that had been scheduled well in advance. I was notified when the roofing crew would arrive (only a few days later than had been scheduled 6 weeks earlier, in spite of heavy rains during this time.) I was notified in advance of the actual date of the job, and was given detailed instructions about preparing the house/driveway to facilitate access and protection during the work. The crew of six men was efficient and hard-working, very professional, courteous, and experienced. The work was completed in less than 2 days on my 5,242 sq. ft. surface area roof, including a flat portion with skylights. Cleanup was excellent, and a magnet was run over the yard and driveway to ensure pickup of nails. Company owner Kit England was on the scene often to ensure that everything was done properly and according to specifications. He was very helpful throughout the whole process of replacing my roof. I highly recommend Rio Blanco Roofing to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.

They installed a metal roof to replace a shingle roof. We are extremely pleased with the work and with the roof itself. Kit, the owner was professional and easy to work with, and Luis and his crew were obviously experts at metal roof installation. I watched them work for six days while they literally carved the pieces for the roof out of the metal panels and put them together like the pieces of a large puzzle. The result is a work of art, and they are true artisans; I don't usually think of a roof in terms of its beauty, but they created a beautiful roof. They also installed 4 new skylights with the same quality of workmanship. I recommend this company without reservation, and if you are thinking about replacing your shingle roof with a metal roof, I think you could not make a better choice and could not hire a better company to do it.
