so,so. Had to make most of the decisions and replant several bushes. They broke a sprinkler pipe and didn't fix it correctly. (although I told them it didn't look right) The pipe came apart a few months after they left.

It went great. Karen came out a few times, always on time, and made great suggestions. The work was done quickly and looks great. I would definitely hire them again.

They did a very good job and we're very pleased with their work. They were on-time, cleaned up after themselves, and did what they said they'd do. The crew that did the work were friendly, and professional. I would use their services again and recommend them to others.

The first time we used Rick at Your Service, he trimmed our Photinia hedge (between 14 to 17 feet high) to 12 feet. He did an excellent job and cleaned up every bit of the clippings. So we hired him again when we needed some landscaping done before putting our house on the market. This time he had his landscaping artist come and advise us on what needed to be done. They were able to finish it before the photographer came to take pictures for the realtor and did an excellent job again -- our house sold the day after it went on the market, and I firmly believe that the landscaping helped sell the house.

We researched 6 companies and chose Rick because he appeared to have years of experience, good customer service, and decent price we could work with. in addition, he presented a great plan with timeline of approximately two weeks. This was perfect because we planned to invite family and friends over so we could celebrate our son's 2nd birthday.
The weekend before Thanksgiving they cut down two trees, poured cement, and set posts for the deck. Although they managed to damage one of our crape myrtle trees, we were still impressed because so much was done in a small amount of time. After that weekend, our experience with Rick went sour because very little was accomplished for two weeks. Tools were everywhere and we had no signs of anyone doing work in our backyard. Rick and his right hand man, Thomas, were not answering phone calls.
After many phone calls and several days a different (2nd) crew showed up and finally started working. This crew managed to cut some of the posts that were supposed to be used for rails. When we brought it up to Rick and Thomas a new (3rd) crew showed up a few days later to continue the job. The new crew took the deck apart and started the project over again because the second crew's work was done improperly. Our deck was on it's way to completion and the (3rd) crew didn't show up for a few days. Rick and Thomas were called again and we were informed that the 3rd crew already had started a new job. After a few days, I showed up from work to find a 4th crew working on our deck to finish the job.
Our deck was finally finished days before Christmas. I do wish I could have hired someone else because I am still disappointed with the overall result of the deck and the time it took to complete it. Below is a list of other things I didn't appreciate from this company:
1. The tree stump from when they cut our tree down is still there.
2. I had to replace nails in some boards because the boards weren't secured to the frame.
3. Rick promised to replace our crape myrtle tree. As of May 2013 we still haven't received it.
4. Every crew left tools random boards with nails lying around. We cleaned up after them to prevent kids from getting hurt.
5. Didn't keep us informed very much. We had to keep calling ourselves to find out what was going on.
We would never consider hiring Rick at Your Service again! He may have the best price, but the quality of work reflects that much lower cost.

They did a great job. He also threw in a repair of my neighbor's fence at no extra cost which was really good. The price was good and they did a lot of little side jobs which really helped. They were good to my dogs. I am going to use a landscape designer and then I am going to have him bid out the work.

We used them twice last year. We had a total front yard landscape redone. They put in beds and walkways. Then, they put in a fence. They were excellent because of their courtesy, professionalism, and higher level of skill. They were reasonably priced, very efficient, and very trustworthy.

Rick returns calls promptly, came and gave quote and upon agreement, was able to schedule work within days. His crew is respectful, professional, and worked as a team under their supervisor anticipating each others needs. RICKS AT YOUR SERVICE has various "divisions" and each has a leader who is a specialty. Rick personally shows up at the job site or is in phone contact with crews (very hands on in his management). I like that since I didn't feel abandoned. After two separate projects successfully completed I would recommend them to neighbors and friends (and have). The property is on a corner and the crew first put down safety cones for safety. I had concerns for damage to my roof and they were careful to address my issues. They cleaned up to perfection. The tree canopies look like they can breath AND I can finally use my fireplace for the first time since I moved here (couldn't because of encroaching limbs).

A very pleasant, professional project. I found this company as a vendor at the recent Home and Garden Show. Calls were made and returned in a timely manner, good communication. Price for services agreed upon and work commenced shortly thereafter. They asked for a reasonable deposit and balance upon completion. Materials were provided just as selected. They brought options to me for my selection (ie: color and style of pavers), rock samples. People stayed on the job until completion. Everyone was on the same page (I asked to be informed and they provided answers). Both Rick and many of their team are Bilingual so communication was not a factor. Staff very respectful ...no yelling or bad language amoungst them, nor loud music, etc. I feel that one can go to a big box company with a fancy store front if that is what one prefers (and pay accordingly) however for my project I had an idea of what I wanted and didn't require a storefront to accomplish the end results. Very satisfied and feel I received a satisfactory job at a fair price and amazing end result.

They were okay. I went through two others after them. The only reason that I stopped asking them to come back was that I asked the gentleman a question and he went through a story, ending that he can't give me his services for free. I am elderly, but I wasn't expecting anything for free. I just don't know much about landscaping and was asking his advice.

The crew did an excellent job of removing and cleaning up after. I will use them again.

Rick is professional and extremely reasonable. He came to my property the same day that I called him about an estimate. He went out of his way to earn my business. I am very impressed with his drive and services. I called several lawn care businesses for an estimate...some individuals didn't even want to make the drive to my area (I reside in the Stone Oak area.) I have used Rick a second time to cut my front lawn ($30) and am still very pleased. I will continue to use him. He is excellent and wants to work. He has certainly earned my business. I will use him on a regular basis for my lawn maintenance.

I had him do some stuff here in the yard and everything and I was really pleased with him. He is very reasonable. He knows what he is doing because it's a red oak and he put it in and he put all the things to keep it steady while it was growing. I only paid him a couple of hundred dollars. For cutting the yard and edging he charges about $45 to $50 and he does an excellent job. The weather had started getting so cold and I just didn't do anything. We've had some real cold weather down here in San Antonio. They have no snow removal stuff or nothing. He follows up with me, he calls, he is a very good person and he only has one other helper. He doesn't bring a lot of people out. He does real good work. The quality is excellent. The yard looked nice with what he did. He knows how to prune trees and he did some of that. He knows edges and stuffs too. He is very responsive and punctual. He always calls. He is very professional. He is knowledgeable of the different grasses, trees, shrubs and things. He knows what grows and what doesn't. I would use him again in the future.
