Ray Ray's Plumbing & Drain

I called Ray Ray's plumbing for a rough-in on my new addition and if you stop reading now please don't make the same mistake I made, just find someone else. Out of the four fixtures they roughed in, three had a slope in the wrong direction, two of them leaked water from being further than 5 degrees off set, and all of them are more than 12" from the design. The owner, Leslie Ray Fewell is a joke of a man with not a single gram of dignity in his body. He will not take responsibility for any actions done under his name, his company or anyone employed by him. Once you pay him he will deny service, tell you he did not receive payment and revoke anything he can. His employees are uneducated, unprofessional and should have anything they have ever touched looked at by a third party and investigated by the Texas State board of plumbing examiners. He will take you for a run and after four+ months, you will only be looking for a new plumber to fix everything they have touched.

I scheduled an appt. for Monday after I submitted a note on the website. Michelle immediately called me and scheduled the next day Monday for 8AM to 10AM. I am up waiting for the plumber and get a call at 8:15AM and Michelle calls and says they can't make it today but could they come from 9-11AM the next day. I agreed. Later I thought, I am not playing this game again like another company tried. I texted back and canceled. Michelle wanted to know why. Excuse me? When she canceled I didn't ask why. So on what would have been the day of the appt. I get a text saying the plumber is on the way. I texted back that I didn't have an appt. that day. Then I get a text wanting to know who I was and what my address was. Hello? I cancelled. What is going on with these companies. Are they treating others like this or just women? Angi said to get a different plumber. I decided I had enough of Angi's too. I called a plumber I had used before that just had to have an opening and got everything the next day. No game playing.

They did a great job. They were on time. They were very professional. I'll definitely used them again.

It was fine. Ray is a great guy. I've been using him for 10 years now or so. He is the only one I use.

After a major local company quoted me hundreds more, I turned to Angie's List and found Ray Ray's Plumbing. (For some reason I could not find the business again when I went back to write this review.) While some other companies REFUSE to give a ballpark quote, even when you know exactly what needs to be done, Ray quoted me a reasonable range. It ended up being on the low end, even though he could've charged a lot more. Great service from an honest plumber.
