The estimate was in my price range and I had been thinking about getting the work done the next year. I agreed to schedule in the new year but did not sign any thing. I wanted to check Angles List first, and there was Quality Red Oak Trimming with a single A rating, the only rating. I was prepared to risk it and was glad I did.
They called to schedule in the new year and we agreed on a date and time. The day before the scheduled date they called to schedule earlier if it was agreeable with me. I understood that with the forecast looking worse you would not want to work in the trees. So the crew of 3 came one day sooner.
The crew did not let me know they where at my home, I was unprepared when I heard the saws start up. It would have been nice to reconfirm what I wanted done before they started. They did talk about it when they called to reschedule. I would have at least liked a "Hi we are here".
The nine tree where done and the litter raked and hauled away in under 3 hours.
On the final walk around I spotted several places where limbs hand been cut or bark gouged that had not been painted over.
They fixed those.
The B rating is only due to being asked to make the check out to the owners name not the business, after I had the check already made out. The owners name is not on the business card or estimate, just Quality Red Oak Trimming.
They didn't use sealant--I'll have to check about that.
Could not have done it as well myself, so I'm happy with the work and the expense.
