Quality Fence & Welding has been in business since 1980. We specialize in building wood fence, chain link, wrought iron, automatic gates with 24 hour service available; security cameras, masonry, vinyl fencing, decks, staircases & railings, structural steel, plasma art, custom work, and much more!We do any residential, commercial, or industrial job. We work with a lot of general contractors, home builders, apartment complexes, and Home Owner Associations. We mainly work with the South San Antonio area, but we will go out of this area depending on the scope of the job. Quality fence had a file on them and knew the proper keys to order.
I have contacted multiple people in the company, most of whom said they would get them on order and call me when they came in. This has been going on for almost 2 months. Still no keys.
I contacted the President on a Thursday and expressed my frustration. While cautiously nice, he made excuses for his people and said that they said I had put the order on hold. Does he think I would be calling the President to find out the order status if it was on hold? Do you think there would be some reason I would keep calling back if it was on hold? Totally illogical excuse from his folks and he should know it. He did his best to imply that it was all my fault.
He said his assistant would take my order and he transferred me to her phone. Her voicemail said she was out that day and would return on Friday.... Did he not know that?
I left a message to call me to place the order. Two days later and she has not called.
I still have no keys nor any idea if they are on order.
I'm lucky it is not a serious issue. Their customer service is horrible.

Bought a new house 05/12/2011 and the fence that was installed by Quality Fence was falling apart within one year after purchasing the house. My Builder Plantation Homes said I had one year warranty but had to contact Quality. They told me it was out of warranty because they Installed the fence 6 months prier to purchase date. You would think I would get one year from purchase date. After talking back and fourth for 1 month they sent someone out but I was not at home and the just left a note and said sorry we missed you when I told them the gate would be unlocked to go ahead and survey the damage. Contacted them several more times no response, I finally had to hire another company to fix my fence, cost me 1500.00. I can not believe a company would do this to a customer they have a big account with like Wilshire homes and Plantation.
