Marcus Weiser is the owner of QCS.  He was up front about how he worked, his charges.  He had excellent suggestions; he is a perfectionist, so I did not have to point out things done poorly or left out.  He was there ahead of me.  Crew was there on time; cleaned up after themselves every day, coordinating plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinet installation, painting, moved all furniture around and into storage pod, and back out again, with only a $5.00 ornament damaged.  Have used this contractor before for minor work and always been pleased.  This was a major re-do of the house, and I couldn't be happier.   Cabinet maker did six samples of stain, and then separately 3 more until we got it right.  Contractor helped me select granite; shopped with me for tile; we went through 6 different paint colors - painting partial walls -  until I found the one that I liked best.  Went with me to look at carpeting.  After I went round and round on what hardware to use in the kitchen, he brought out the perfect sample.  
The work was done on time - even with the bumps caused by the electrical and the plumbing.  Contractor gives you a meticulous itemization of all work done, with periodic updates of any additional expenses - and credits.  For example, in entry way, he had given me an estimate on installing sheetrock to replace the wainscoting being removed.  When they removed the paneling they found sheetrock in good repair, so I was given a credit.
