Ed Mesa (Pro Painters) completed outstanding service at my home in Terrell Hills. He painted much of the inside of my home, power washed the exterior, and painted a lot of the exterior of the house as well. He communicated fully, worked for a fair price and was just lovely to work with. This job was complicated by the fact that I was getting my house ready to put on the market and was not physically in San Antonio while the work was being done. Pro painters was a rehire. They first came out and painted our home. Did a great. Then had them come out to paint our hallway and bathroom. Did a great job.. Very good about cleaning up when done Will hire them again.

Ed and Matthew did a superb job of painting the exterior trim of our house. They also tackled a 12x20 workshop in our backyard and two pergolas that required replacing some boards and re-staining. We were so pleased with their work that we asked them to also re-stain our wooden privacy fence. They replaced some boards in the fence as well and secured ones that had come loose. We were so amazed that there was not a single thing that we wished had been done better. We were able to rely on Edâ s expertise in choosing the right paint and the right application methods and to painstakingly tape, cover and protect surfaces and areas before painting or staining to achieve the professional look we wanted. Contracting with Ed Mesa Pro-Painters, we benefited from the pride of workmanship you get with a family-owned business along with the professionalism you expect from a large company. Ed submitted a detailed proposal of the work to be performed, the materials that would be used and the payment terms that were expected. Mr. Mesa took painstaking care to ensure that all dilapidated surfaces were repaired properly, thoroughly primed and paint applied in a careful way to protect other surfaces. This is the first job I hired him comments ---Reasonable price for good quality work. Update Hire the contractor a second time October 14,2020-------We hired Edward Mesa to repair a hole in our living room ceiling. Because the ceiling would need painting after the hole is repaired, we decided to hire him, since he did a previous paint job which was acceptable. The hole was made by the plumbers who needed to locate a leak coming from the second floor. We also needed the patchwork to be textured and painted. Because the ceiling had a Monterey drop texture, we asked if he was able to do the texture work. He said he could. When he finished the work it was bad. First, the Sheetrock was uneven in a few places. Therefore, it did not flush evenly with the rest of the ceiling. Next, the textured finish was bad. He went back to redo the texturing, but it did not go well. And then he painted the area where he did the work, and you can tell the paint is off on the ceiling where he did the patch job. I called him back to the house to fix the problem, but he always gives me excuses. I decided to call several different vendors to inspect the work and determine how much it will cost to fix the problem. Every one of them said Edward did a very poor job. And their estimates ranged anywhere from $550 to $1,000. One guy said the work was so bad, he would have to redo the Sheetrock work besides re-texturing and then applying the paint. Others said maybe sanding the Sheetrock down to get it to flush with the rest of the ceiling might work. Edward also painted my garage using an epoxy shield. The floor looks nice when he finished, but after 4 days we began to place items back in the garage even though Edward said we needed 2 days for the shield to dry. Well as soon as we place items in the garage, we saw a mark on the floor. We try cleaning it up with cleaning products, but to avail. Edward then said to wait another day or two and try again to use the garage. We did, but we ask Edward to come back and repaint the areas where the marks are. He said he would, but he never did. I would hire him for paint work!

Overall quality of work was good, however Ed seemed rushed and destroyed my grass resulting in additional expenses to repair killed grass while painting and cleaning his equipment.

Edward and his son did a great job. I have an older home needed extra attention. They spend a lot time prepping the house to be painted. Receive complements on their job from neighbor and friends.

I never write reviews, but Ed Mesa and his son were the best painters I ve ever hired. Meticulous, extremely professional, and cleaned up over and above expectations. Their attention to detail, specifically to prep work, caulking, then protection for plants, ceiling fans, and other areas, was excellent. Please consider using them. I will again!

The Pro-Painters Team were awesome. I am a very busy person and I don't have time for delays or disorganization! Edward read me well and understood the details of my expectations and knocked it out of the park. I had an emergency call and had to leave in the middle of the project but Edward kept me informed of the progress until completion. Above board service and integrity. I would definitely recommend Pro-Painters for any painting or stucco need.

Had an extra room painted for my granddaughter. Edward did an amazing job. Friendly and professional. he took the time to patch up some nail holes I had. Having him back to do my living/dinning area and a restroom. Pricing was way better than I anticipated.
