"Thank you for the review and we are glad to hear that the initial estimate, installation, timeliness and clean up were great! As you noted, yes we do have many amazing reviews and we work very hard for them. When the issue first arose, you contacted us and we sent out team out to inspect what was causing the issue. The install team did not find anything apparent, however they slightly adjusted the gutters to see if it was a drainage issue to rule that out. When the issue still occurred, you contacted us again and we looked into the problem quite a bit deeper. It was found that the roof tiles you have in this area of the home in particular were either not installed originally with enough over hang, or the home has shifted in the past 42 years and that may have cause the tiles to adjust slightly. There is no way to know for sure, adding drip edge is the appropriate fix in this situation as the home does not currently have any and is now a code requirement with all new roof installations. If we would have known this at the time of installation we would have presented the finding’s and recommended adding the drip edge at that time for a change order of $400. With a 42 year old roof, sometimes roof alterations or repairs are needed to make a new gutter system and an older roof work together properly and additional repairs are needed. In this case it took a hard rain to find this issue. We are sorry you don’t feel like you can recommend us, but we will continue to try and remedy this situation for you if you would like. "Potential Customer called asking us to come out and repair a leak found from last nights storms. We charge $150 service call fee for diagnosing and inspecting for damage to repair on his style of roof. We do offer free estimates for new installations, however this is an older roof and a service call is what we charge for, diagnosing and leak chasing takes a bit of time which is why most company’s charge for there time and expertise. At that time As a customer, if you elect to DO repairs quoted after diagnosis, that service call fee is rolled Into and is part of the price for the repair. This is no different that any Plumber Electrician or HVAC company. Most in home service providers either carry a trip charge or a service call fee to come out. We are sorry he did not want to hire us and felt the need to leave a bad review because we have a service call rate. But this is pretty standard for in home service providing Company’s."
