They scheduled the roof repair for September 27, 2016. They forgot us, completely, and had to scramble to get a crew here. They did on the 28th. Then, the roofers left roofing materials hanging from our trees. David came out saying he wanted to inspect it and to discuss the colors for the siding when instead all he wanted was a check for the completed roofing.
Siding:
I thought that the siding was scheduled for the next week as that is what David told me. He also told me that they would work with insurance to get all 3 sides done since there was a bit of damage on all 3 sides of the house, not just one, and the siding was faded. They did not call the insurance company or even try to contact them, and they didn't come to do the siding until I threatened to contact the City of San Antonio and the BBB regarding the same. Finally, they scheduled BARNS contracting to come out on December 22nd at 7 a.m. BARNS, in the person of Chris Gardner, didn't show up until 6 p.m. and that was just to deliver all the supplies. Chris promised to be back with his crew at 7 a.m. on Friday, December 23rd. They finally showed up at noon on Friday.
Then, at 6 p.m., they wanted a check for the services, which they weren't through with, so they could buy Christmas for their kids and promised to come back at 7 a.m. on Saturday morning and that they would complete the work by the end of that day. (What in the world?!) It was Christmas, so I checked with David who said to go ahead and pay them. I gave them a check. About an hour and a half later, they had Ace Check Express call me to ask if I could verify the check and had any way to verify it with my bank. I said not then, but the bank was open in the morning. Chris' wife called to ask that I re-write the check for $300 less and give them $300 in cash as they were out of diapers and formula for the baby. At first, I said yes, but then I thought about it. In this day and age when checks can be photographed and deposited or cashed and then handed back, I was not comfortable doing this. I told them so. But, they continued to call until almost 10 that evening. I contacted David at Premier who said he would handle it, but did not.
Saturday, they didn't show up. About 10:30, Ace called again asking what the check was for. I explained. She told me that they said it was a gift to help them out at Christmas and not for work done or to be done. I asked her to ask them if they planned to come back to finish the work that day as they said. They agreed, but only came back long enough to put the materials up so my family wouldn't be around the materials in the main yard at Christmas and promised to come back and finish later that day and if they couldn't complete it then, they would be back at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 26th.
They have not come back nor have I been able to reach Premier Roofing, their representative David Smith or Chris Gardner of BARNS contracting.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.
"Regarding the [Member Name Removed] property: Premier Roofing and Contracting has completed all repairs to the property as per scope of the Work Order. To date, we have performed two minor re-attachments of vinyl siding that came loose during two different wind events. It was noted, and proffered to the home owners, that the exterior walls of the home are bowed in areas. The homeowner took great umbrage to this fact and accused me of placing blame on others. This is a structural anomaly attributable to the original builder and, in no way, is a responsibility of Premier. In point of fact, it would require significant work to correct this basic flaw. I documented the wall imperfections by photographs and by personally pushing against the siding in way of the 'bulges' which did not move. Further, I photographed the left elevation that we did not repair (it was not damaged, and thus, not a part of the insurance estimate) that showed similar bulging. I have been in constant contact with Mrs. [Member Name Removed], who, at times, seems completely satisfied and happy while other times she is verbally abusive on the telephone, seemingly livid with unfounded anger. Conversely, Mr. [Member Name Removed] has always presented as understanding and professional. Premier holds no ill feeling toward the homeowners and will continue to honor our workmanship warranty. We only ask that we be made aware of any future issue that might arise so we might affect repairs as deemed necessary. One note: Premier is still owed a sum of money (per the work order) due from the insurance company (State Farm). State Farm is aware of the amount due and a request has been made that a check be made out directly payable to Premier, or, at the very least, the home owners and Premier. Respectfully, David."

"Good morning sir, I was just going back through our reviews and saw that I did not respond to this one. Just wanted to clarify, I actually did the final walk when your wife was having a birthday party of some sort at the house with friends and family. You were not home at the time. I checked everything out and walked the entire perimeter and took final pictures with our drone which we still have and sent over our 10 Year Workmanship Warranty as well. few weeks ago and I could not be any happier. Brandon, who responded to my call
for a free quote was very professional, on time and knowledgeable about the
products and samples he gave me. From the start he was upfront about the
details, the cost and what they would replace and fix and I liked that I did
not have to mention my coupon from Angie?s list before getting an estimate. I
always feel the price goes up if you mention a coupon beforehand but not with
Brandon and Premier. Their crew showed
up on time, was very professional and work until completely dark the first day.
They finished up early the next day and cleaned the area front to back as
though they were never there. I highly recommend Premier roofing for your next
roof repair or total replacement.
