Stucco Service
$8,000
Mr. Sanchez of Premier Antique Stucco was punctual and had his crew there as promised. He provided me with a contract and warranty. Mr. Sanchez requested the 3 payment checks be made out to him personally. Within 3 months the stucco had fractured cracks everywhere. I contacted Mr. Sanchez and he quickly said it was a moisture problem, This is the second driest drought in the Texas' history, then he said it was a structural issue. We had 3 unbiased opinions with reports on what caused these issues. We presented this to Premier Stucco and Mr Sanchez stated that we needed to have an engineer look at it. We had an structural engineer assess the problem and in his report it states the states cracks and fractures in the stucco are due to workmanship and application errors. The report also states that the structure is stable. . We spoke with Lisa Nichols Custom homes who gave us a similar account of Premier Antiques Stucco workmanship. She was discussed with his work and said she tells everyone in the business to beware of Mr Sanchez and his company. Finally after all this Mr. Sanchez contacted and gave us his insurance information. His insurance denied the claim and referenced in their adjuster's report stating it was an application and workmanship issue. We asked for our money back as this problem has has only gotten worse. He promised us that he would come back and fix the issue but would not put anything in writing. We asked for another warranty he said he would not do that. He told us that if we sued him or took him to small claims court that he would fold his business. We told him he would be putting us in the same situation if we didn't get it in writing. He promised to work it out and gave us a date to meet with us and have his crew set up staging. That date has come and gone and we have not heard from Premier Antique Stucco, Jorge or Ruby Sanchez. This will cost us not only the $8,000 we paid Premier. It will cost us another $12,000 to tear down and reapply the stucco with a warranty. This price includes staging, the clean up and haul off of the mess Premier Antique Stucco has caused. Stay away from this contractor. He is out to take your money without any regard to what happens after he cashes your check. Take a look at his "new" web site. No warranty or customer recommendations.

These people are artists with cut stone and stucco. My patio really isn't cut stone but it is nearly impossible to detect. Coloring is exceptional.
