Pianoforte of San Antonio

Alberto was nothing short of amazing! He responded quickly, asked great questions to make sure he and his partner were prepared, and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure the piano was able to be placed exactly where I wanted it. I actually had another company I found first and they had terrible communication and lied about pickup. However I’m so thankful it didn’t workout after seeing the care and time Alberto put into my piano move. This was an inherited piece that came from several hours north and he even helped me look it over, make suggestion on a local tuning contact, and found the year it was made. If you’re hesitant on who to trust, take it from someone who’s tried other companies - Alberto is your guy!!

I have used them twice and they always do an amazing job. Alberto and his father are extremely conscientious. Alberto quickly responds to all communications. I have and will continue to recommend them.

I have only ever tried to move a piano once in my life, was unsuccessful, and will never do so again. After having issues with said move, I called Pianoforte, and was promptly talking to Alberto whom said he could get a piano move done the same day. When Alberto and his father arrived, they quickly assessed the state of the piano, covered it to protect it during the move, and loaded it quite effortlessly. When they got to our home, they unloaded the piano and set it up with even more ease. From start to finish the whole move took maybe 3 hours. Update from two weeks ago: So to know how I got to this point, read my initial review below. Alberto and his father were once again able to accommodate on short notice. They arrived when they said they would and were prompt and attentive in helping us restore our piano. The whole job took them less than 30 minutes to replace a piano leg and reattach our pedals which had been left off from the previous move. Alberto and his father were once again very courteous and helpful especially in helping us roll our piano to a new location once the leg was fixed. I cannot recommend Alberto and Piano Forte enough to anyone whom is looking to move a piano. They have been nothing short of fantastic. Original review: Alberto and his father were always very polite, courteous, and never made me feel as though I was a burden or wasting their time. If you're ever in need of a piano to be moved, I would highly recommend looking into Pianoforte as a first choice.

Update from: 5/9/2025 I called Pianoforte of San Antonio for the second time and they were the best! Mr. Alberto and his team are so wonderful, communicative, and experienced. They are the best in the business and the best people. 7/26/24 I had a fantastic experience! They were so knowledgeable about moving and making sure they had the right information to make the move as easy and fluid as possible. They took great care over curbs and doorways with ramps and tarps. They also offered expertise on how best to position the piano in the new space. Mr. Alberto and the whole team is kind and cares about pianos. I would not choose anyone else to move my piano now that I’ve worked with them.

Couldn’t be more pleased with Pianoforte of San Antonio. They communicated with us on their trip from San Antonio to our home some three hours away, arrived exactly on time and spent an hour carefully moving the piano into our home. They were polite, friendly and very efficient throughout the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their piano moved, set up and prepared with gentle care.

Pianoforte did an amazing job moving our piano from our home to our new studio location! Alberto was awesome at communicating with us and was able to fit us in same day. They were so fast and very careful with our piano. He even set us up with better caster cups to protect our floors. 10 out of 10!
