Lisa was very patient and helpful in our quest for granite counter tops. She coordinated well with Sean Sweet who installed our kitchen cabinets. The only hitch was when the installers made our install 2nd instead of the original 1st place. It made a couple of complications in the day. However, when they arrived, they worked efficiently, timely, and did a great job. The granite looks wonderful.

They were very straightforward with their pricing. Pantet was very pleasant to work with. They were very professional and punctual.

The granite was not measured correctly. The installer spoke broken English, and could not (would not?) tell us it was messed up. But I could see right away it was messed up. Company tried to fix, but issue was too immense. We went with another company and another granite top.

They came out and measured, letting me know how much square footage I had. I looked all over for a granite I liked and when I found one they obtained it from the vendor and fabricated it. I found the granite industry to be quite odd, in that it was difficult to ever get a direct quote from sales people on how much a granite costs. They leave that to the fabricator. It is difficult for a consumer to tell where the mark-up is and to analyze materials vs labor cost...in fact, was impossible. My only concern with Pantet was that I had some engineering issues that I did not think they addressed to my satisfaction. I had an overhang on an island that I felt needed extra support for the new granite and they did not solve this for me, but left it up to me to solve. I also had problems with the demo of the sink. My plumbers said Pantet had damaged a part of the undercounter instant hot water heater on the demo and they could not install it back. I am still in process of having that fixed....almost a month later. The counters, though do look beautiful. I just think the granite business is a strange one with sales and fabrication not very well coordinated. If you could afford it, i think it would be best to work with a contractor and let them handle all the moving parts.
