Staff was very professional and thoughtful. I have been seeing Dr Ramsey with my pets for 10 years. He is the best vet I have ever had! He made this final and sad moment as good as it gets. I appreciate his big heart. And he's an exceptionally talented vet and surgeon!

They should stop trying to over sell. They wanted to do a thyroid test on my dog. The laundry list of things they try to sell you is incredible. Teeth cleaning, does a dog need a their teeth cleaned. Really? For quality they do a good job. Punctuality is an A. We go on the day for open appointments and we have to sit there and wait. But that is not their fault we do that. I would use them again in the future.

They have always been very helpful. I would recommend them highly. The workers are very professional, and very polite. I take him for his bath, I just drop him off. When they get done with his bath, they call me to pick him up. Its very nice.

They are excellent and prices are very reasonable. There are some wait times at moments.

The staff is very professional and experienced, especially the vet himself.

The front desk staff are friendly, albeit often overwhelmed.  The vet techs have all been great to us even in an emergency situation. The hours are terrific.  That's the main reason we continue to go there.  Dr. Ramsey  is knowledgeable and great with our dog.  There are some issues with their online reminder system.   We think our dog was over vaccinated because I kept getting the email reminders and no one double checked when we brought our puppy in. The other vets who have seen our cats have suggested some rather expensive tests that haven't provided any real answers. I'm sure they are interested in what is best for our kitties, and that figuring out cats is not easy, but I wish they would keep financial factors in mind as well.

The people who work there are friendly but their practices too me are
dishonest.  I have used them for 3 separate pets and today took our 10
year old cat from Germany to get chipped in preparation for moving back
to Europe.  They advertise $15 to get chipped but will not chip without a
roughly $50 examination and then want to sedate our cat for another $45
and add on some other extra fees so ie want us to pay about 150 dollars
to get our cat chipped.  When we refused to pay the sedation fee the
nurse said we could talk with the vet about that charge but that it
would cost us $50 to have that 2 minute conversation.  We gladly took
our pet and records and have moved to another veterinary.  Again polite
but dishonest at best which is enough reason for me not to trust them -
recommend you find a more honest location.

- Update -
Called
and discussed with manager reference his reply - was unable to explain
why they want to charge $50 to have a vet explain something to you that
would take 2 minutes.  I have no issue paying for services and would
agree to having an examination in my presence (not away from me), but
trust me they will nickle and dime you.  Being a retired COL in the
military I have traveled extensively with our pets within and outside
the USA and will stick with my review I do not find their practice
honest and believe you can find a better vet elsewhere.

Lastly,
my new vet office on Vance Jackson Rd charged me $50 for both an exam
and chipping my cat and the vet actually took the time to talk with us
before and after the procedure.

"(Member name removed), We understand your frustrations and apologize for your negative experience. Our microchip promotion for Fridays is $15 which can most often be performed without sedation, as long as the patient complies. We always want what is best for our clients and patients so if the patient becomes stressed or very fearful, we must sedate them properly, including an examination to make sure they are healthy enough to be sedated. We appreciate your feedback and for calling us to discuss the matter in more detail. We have already adjusted our messaging to reflect potential additional charges, as needed, with this type of service."

I took my chihuaha in because he was acting like he was in pain, retreating into corners or under tables, not letting people approach him, small yelps, not eating or drinking. Tummy felt hard and he was acting lethargic. This was an evening, weeknight visit. Was a busy night at the clinic and I had to wait a bit to get into a room. The attendant initially went over his history and problem, completed a quick exam. We then waited a bit for the dr. She came in, examined him, took some bloodwork. Everything looked ok so she concluded that he had eaten more human food than his tummy could tolerate and that may be the cause of the problem. She recommended a bland diet, some diet food and some meds to help with the pain. 2 days later he was still in pain. I took him back. While his tummy was better he was still yelping in pain. She took xrays and found that he had arthritis in his knee. She gave me something for the arthritis and he has been much better since then. They provided quotes before providing any service to make sure I was ok with the amount. I would say the only negative was the wait time. They were courteous and answered any questions I had regarding his care at home.

Two years ago we adopted our dog from the city's Animal Care Services, and she was sick. A friend in another town who is a vet suggested we take her to Perrin 410 Animal Hospital since she knew they would be open on the weekend late at night and she had worked there a few years before and knew the care she would receive there would be excellent. After 3 weeks of treating her, with no positive results, they suggested we give her a test that cost about $200 but would tell everything that was wrong with her - be it viral or bacterial. The results were that she had kennel cough (they'd been treating her for that, but it was a really bad case) and distemper. (She'd been given a distemper shot when the pound picked her up, but that simply added to her viral load! The pound also spayed her while she was sick!) A few days later, one of the vets called to tell me about a possible new treatment that was expensive and would mean bringing her in (although keeping her in the back seat of the car, since they would no longer allow her into the office with distemper), for a really nasty shot every 3rd day. There were no guarantees that it would help, but, since she was clearly dying, we figured it couldn't hurt anything but our pocket book. After the first shot, she seemed a tiny bit better. By the end of the two-week treatment, she was clearly on the mend! Today she is a healthy, happy dog and we take her to Perrin 410 Animal Hospital for everything. They are wonderful about sending us reminder post cards and everyone we have ever had contact with there has been very kind and loving toward all the animals (as well as their owners) they see. The are very expensive, but they are the ones really bad cases get referred to since they have the testing equipment and even the blood bank for the animals. I've seen the lower ratings from others, but, in my opinion, a vetinary hospital that can save a dog with a bad case of distemper should be A+ rated!

"Hi [member name removed], Just wanted to say thanks so much for your kind words and positive review! We're so glad you and [dog's name] are happy with her care here, and we think [dog's name] is pretty amazing, too! It takes a strong spirit to overcome distemper, and she is definitely a keeper! Thanks for entrusting us with her care. Hope you're both doing well! Best, The Perrin-410 Team"

The good thing about them is they're open from 7 AM to 11 PM, 7 days a week; there's no additional emergency fee being charged and they only close I believe on Christmas. That's all for the same charge and I think it's amazing. They are the most kind people and knowledgeable. I think that everybody has it's different schedule, and you hate to be suddenly go in a veterinary late at night because they might charge you for an extra emergency fee. They are not trying to rush you out of there; I had brought my puppy and it needs to be fed before taking the medicine so they took the time to get the food and wait for the dog eat so that they can get the tablet to the dog.

We thought our old dog had had a stroke. We set an appt. with her regular vet. for the nx day. But she got worse and I took her in the same day. The vet. was there, was sent for, but never came. We had to wait for another vet. and did so in the lobby for about thirty minutes. Finally, we were taken to an examination room where a technician took the dog's temperature and listened to my concern.
After forty-five minutes I went to the receptionist and complained about such a long wait in view of the circumstances. The receptionist went back to find the vet., came back saying the vet. refused to see us because there was an emergency and our dog was breathing normally. I have no idea who made that determination, the receptionist or technician, the vet. never laid an eye on the dog.
We left and were charge for a and quot;doctor visitation/consultationand quot; I did not have time to argue, I had to get the animal help. The next day someone from there phoned to see how the dog was doing?
This practice advertised no extra charge for emergencies. They charge for everything they do, even things they don't do.
They don't deal with displeasure. You can go in; phone; e-mail; write; fax or use a carrier pigeon, they ignore it all. No accountable person will deal with you. Apparently, customer satisfaction is not the essence of this business.
Their catchphrase, and quot;Best Care Anywhereand quot; is silly.

They got us right in and kept my dog overnight after her surgery to repair the leg. I got complete instructions, anti-biotics, and pain killers for her recovery and complete instructions on how to care for her. All the staff were very caring, patient, and helpful. It was great to have superior veterinary care after-hours without having to pay the exorbitant fees that the emergency veterinary clinics charge. My dog has completely recovered.

Everyone at the clinic was very nice and understanding. It was nice to find a vet with Sunday hours, near our home. They explained the potential courses of action and gave us options to choose from. They explained the cost in advance. Really nice people there. We will use them again if we need them.

I have used this vet hospital repeatedly, largely because of their convenient hours (7:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.)The staff is nice and the doctors seem knowledgeable. However, there is some turnover among the veterinarians - I have twice gone back and found that a veterinarian I had previously consulted was no longer there. They don't take appointments on weekends, so if you go as a walk-in you could get bumped by an emergency.

Both veterinarians and staff remember animals' names, which always reassures me about their level of caring and involvement.

I have been going to this animal hospital for years. My dog has been taken care of by Dr. Ramsey since he was a puppy. He loves our vet, and so do we. There may be less expensive clinics, but not more knowledgeable or dedicated staff.

Caring, attentive technicians and Veterinarian. This practice has several Veterinarians on staff and they are open 7 days/week, until 11 pm (except if they are really slow....call ahead if you're coming in the evening without an appointment, sometimes they stop taking patients earlier). The front desk staff is pleasant enough, but they do get things confused sometimes as witnessed by my appointment not being in on file. Also last time I went (two weeks ago) they accidentally stapled someone else's record to my dog's so I made an extra trip to return someone else' rabies shot record and tag.
