Patriot Automotive and Transmissions

The experience was great! Bob helped me get a high mount brake light to work so that I could pass an annual safety inspection. This was a real challenge because repair parts were virtually non-existent due to the age of the vehicle. Bob's persistence and "thinking our of the box" solved the problem. Being a Vet, I like patronizing businesses who have Veteran employees - a way of "paying it back," Strongly recommend anyone having automotive issues to put Patriot at the top of their list!!! Bob adamantly refused to accept payment, so I made a donation to the shop's Wednesday Morning Taco fund - ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!

The repair was only 3 days including having a rebuilt transmission shipped to the shop. the experience went very smoothly and my truck runs like new. Scott and Mike were friendly and knowledgeable. Scott had me bring the truck back at about two weeks and Mike inspected and drove it to be sure everything was working properly. Since their service is excellent and their prices are reasonable, I will be taking my cars to Patriot Automotive for maintenance and repair as long as I live in the San Antonio area.

Patriot provides new front brakes and rotors for much less than expected and under the time frame that would have expected.

From the time I walked in the front door I knew I would be taken care of. The business was clean, inviting and opens early which makes it very convenient. The owner and workers were really polite and did everything they said they would do. I highly recommend getting your vehicles serviced here!

Great. They were very honest and helpful.

I got very prompt service and fair pricing. When a radiator hose came loose the next day, they towed my car back to the shop at their expense because they do guarantee their work. They are professional, fairly priced, and have excellent customer service. I will always go to Patriot when I need work done. A trustworthy mechanic is hard to find!

From the very first phone call the service was great! They were able to help me get a tow truck to pick up my car the very same day I called and I got a price quote from them a few hours later. This was my first time using this shop, so naturally I was a little skeptical but the service was fantastic! Every time I called with a question or concerns Scott always answered promptly and professionally. My car was ready on the schedules day and it runs smoothly! I will definitely be bringing my car to this shop for my next major repair.

These guys are the best. They did great work and then retroactively let me use an Angie’s list deal. Definitely recommend this business for any auto work.

This happened to occur on a super rainy day so we wanted to take it in as soon as possible. We called Patriot Automotive and they told us to bring it in right away. They looked at it within an hour and was able to give us an estimate on both the cost and when it would be completed. We had it done by the end of the day and the cost to have it performed was very reasonable! We moved back to San Antonio a few years ago and have found it difficult to find a mechanic who is reliable, reasonably priced, and honest! I am so glad we found them and will continue to use them for all future work. They truly care about their customers.

The entire process went very well from me calling them to ensure they could actually fix the issue, to them keeping me in the loop as they performed the service (which required additional labor but at a very reasonable cost). I highly recommend Patriot and will definitely take my vehicles there in future for any service items I can't handle myself.

Smoothly and expertly performed and in a very timely order as well as fairly priced. We have even asked if one of our vehicles need to have a particular replacement or fix done now and the answer is no when it doesn't really need to be done yet. That is a level of comfort that my husband and I enjoy by making Scott and his team our go to automotive shop.

I called Patriot automotive based on reviews and I am so glad I did! I called in the morning and spoke with Mike and he said I could bring in the vehicle that day. He told me he would take a look and give me a call that same day, and he did! There were a couple loose caliper bolts from a brake job we had done at another place. He replaced them for free, told me what to look for in case I had future issues, and had it all done for me the same day! It has been so difficult to find an honest mechanic in the city and I have now found my place. Thank you!

It went fine. I have used Patriot many times and consider them the best. They are well worth driving halfway across town to get to because they are honest, good, and reliable.

I am not a mechanic but all I can say is the van is running a lot smoother now and I am happy with the work. Mike the mechanic was very friendly when I arrived. I gave him some older service records from Jordan Ford and he was interested in them to know more about the vehicle. Some places would just say they don't need that but I am glad he took it and kept it. I will be taking my cars there from now on.

Fantastic! We highly recommend the folks at Patriot Automotive. They consistently provide thorough service in a timely manner at a reasonable price. We call ahead for an appointment and they're ready for us when we arrive. Also, their waiting area provides a clean, professional atmosphere while we wait. An oil/filter change usually takes about 20 minutes, and the technicians check hoses, belts, tires, etc., during the process.

Mike the head technician gave excellent customer service and accommodated us regarding time of drop off and pick up of our vehicle. Very knowledgeable professional and knows his craft very well. Excellent services!

Much to my surprise, there was ZERO ($0) charge for the diagnostic test @ Patriot Automotive. Even the dealership charges $129!!!! I am grateful that Scott was very attentive to my concerns. He equipped me with information to take to the dealership and now my vehicle is being repaired. It is refreshing to do business with a company who looks out for the best interest of their customer, even if they do not make the sale. If needed again, I would certainly return to Patriot Automotive and recommend them to my family and friends.
