I knew I needed shocks, probably breaks and had some oil leak issues. Dave helped me prioritize issues then fixed shocks quickly and price was fair. Said I could wait a few months on brakes. What mechanic is that honest? We've been taking our cars here for over 20 years. Honest guys that do good work every time.

Relatively expensive and no more than average work. Some nuts and bolts were not returned to the motor, and a couple of items I asked them to do were not done. They reused several gaskets, very cheap parts in the overall scheme of things and items I assumed would be replaced automatically. Left a couple of vacuum hoses disconnected. I'm nervous about the heart of the repair (head and head gasket) as they obviously didn't put much time into quality control during reassembly of the motor. I've taken many cars to Orient over the years, but it feels like the quality is not the same as it once was.

We used to use their services quite a lot when we had a particular vehicle but we haven’t had that vehicle since 2004. They were reasonable. They were pretty much a small garage that we could trust. I think they did check with us before they proceeded with the work. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were all good. We would use them again but we have been going to the dealer right now since the dealer is very close. So it’s the proximity thing wherein we can walk back to the dealer whereas we couldn’t do that with Orient Auto.

It went very well. He was very informative. He told me exactly what went wrong with the window. Much more customer friendly than going to the dealership. The price was very reasonable. I'm already planning on using or consulting him with any further service needed with that vehicle.

My Honda sporadically had become difficult to shift out of park into another gear over the course of several days. One day it suddenly got much worse and it took 5 solid minutes of doing nothing but attempting to shift to get the car out of of park. Fortunately, I had a passenger with me, so I could go to pick up my kids while leaving the car in neutral with my passenger stepping on the brake. I picked up my kids and drove to Orient Auto (without calling first) and went in and explained the problem. The mechanic came right out to my car, hopped in, and told me that my brake light switch had gone out, so the car basically did not "know" that the brakes were engaged, and so as a safety precaution, it would not shift into gear. He showed me how to override this feature by engaging a switch on the steering column. He ordered the part I needed and told me I could come back in the morning for the repair. He also pointed out that my brake lights weren't coming on because of this problem, so I made sure to drive as little as possible before getting the car fixed. I was overjoyed when he told me that the part was only $7.00. When I arrived at 9:00 the next morning, the part was there and it took only 30 minutes to install.
