It was a bit pricy, BUT the job was well done and both items are like new.  It was well worth the money.  The job was done in 3 days and I am happy with it.  Will definitely go back in he future.

I called on Saturday to confirm their schedule for Monday. They said 7am - 6pm I let them know I'd be going in to get work done on a costume I needed for the following Saturday. I rushed all the way from my job at New Braunfels (took an hour) and made it at 5:55pm. When I got to the door it was locked. I peeked in and saw a girl at the counter. She completely ignored me. She was counting money so I waited for her to get a break so she could at least acknowledge me and see if I needed anything since it was before 6pm. Nothing. She continued to do other things, looked at me again and continued to do what she was doing. It would have been nice to know they closed before 6pm. The girl was very rude and provided poor customer service which I am sure is a reflection of their overall service. I'll be spending my money elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. I wouldn't want to ever get stuck unable to pick up an item or needing something because they chose to close early and didn't notify their customers.

on Sat , found the location easy enough , put on skirt ( brand new w/ tags from Banana Republic) and an EE of ninas pinned ..
when i walked up to counter to prepay for service, she informed me that the cost was 45.00 because my skirt had a liner. 45.00 for a 1" hem .. paid for service , pick up set for Monday portranco location. I arrived Tues morning , was asked if I wanted to try the skirt on  .. when handed the skirt I went to check the hem and noticed the slit was obviously crooked and did not close. EE imidiatly said "oh i will send back for redo"  Returned and picked up skirt Thursday miday , hem was repaired correctly. I do appreciate good service, so after the experience i feel that I will probably not return not just about " the mistake in repair" but overall too pricy not to have the hem done right the first time or for the repair to be reviewed before getting to the customer. What about a discount on the service or partial refund ??

I bought a dress for my niece's wedding.  I loved the dress, but knew that it would need to be altered.  I'm only 5'2", so I needed the dress hemmed.  The top of the dress fit awful; very big and it was sort of just hanging.  But, I loved the dress, so I went to Nina's for alterations.  They did a phenomenal job.  The top of the dress is lace, sequins, and pearls, so it had to be altered by HAND.  The bottom of the dress is chiffon, which is a very difficult fabric to work with.  I picked up the dress yesterday and it is absolutely perfect.  The service was fast; I only waited one week to get my dress back.  The alterations were perfect.  I can't say enough about Nina's.

It is not a "standard" service and Nina was not there when I dropped it off on Saturday. They called me Monday morning and gave the cost of the service and told me it would be ready on Tuesday. I agreed to the cost and it was ready when promised and looked like new!! Everyone I talked to, on the phone and in person, is very courteous and professional. I will definitely visit them again when I need their services!

I was informed of a black tie dinner at the last minute and purchased a suit in the late evening. The place I bought the suit from could not promise me the suit back before I had my engagement. I went on Angie's List and found Nina's Alteration and Cleaners. I called very early in the morning expecting to get the answering machine, to my surprise she was already available. I brought it in and she had it ready much sooner than I had expected. Thank you so very much.

Turnaround time was fine.  Clear they are quite busy. Did take the time to fit the dress on me and ensure I was making right decision. Just a little pricey.

I had to have a bridesmaids dress completely altered because the company sent me the wrong size and they were not going to be able to send me a new dress before the wedding. Nina's took the dress and took the seams apart, altered it and sewed it back together. It looked amazing and was done very quickly. It was a little expensive but there was a lot of work to be done in a short amount of time, so I understand and am not upset/disgruntal about it. I will use Nina's again for other things I may need and I will always recommend them to everyone!

I've used this tailor several times.  Nice, and they do quality work.  My only concern is that I feel they are a little pricey.  The last garment I brought in, the work should have taken them 5-10 minutes, tops, and they charged $10.  They said that is their minimum for "repair" (that might not be the exact word).  This wasn't really repair, it was reattaching one piece of the garment with thread.  So, my advice would be, if it is a fairly expensive garment that you care about having it done right, it would pay to have it done here, because they do good work.  You will be pleased.

There is also a fairly new Nina's on Patracno which we have also used.      Although I think sometimes they are overpriced for simple alterations.  I actually came on Angies list today to see if there was anyone else in our area that was not as expensive but it seems they are the only one around my side of town

The dress was made abroad - per my measurements. The dress was a beautiful replica of a designer gown - but my measurements were not taken into consideration. Nina restructured the entire dress.  I wore as the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding, then had her alter the dress again - so I could wear it as Mother of the Bride in my step daughter's wedding.  She does excellent work at a reasonable price.

From teh moment I walked through the door when I was very pleasantly greeted to the commitment to finish the work within days was a great experience.  Friendly, professional, and meet their commitments.

Nina marked each item. She asked very specific questions. My husband's pants were part of a uniform and somewhat involved. She had them all ready in a week as promised and they were perfect.

Measured the length to perfection. I left the jeans at 10:00 am and they were hemmed and ready for pick up by 3:00 pm. Employees were professional and knowledgeable about the service being provided.
