"Jeff, thank you for leaving your review. We were not aware that you were unhappy until you stated what has been going on here on HomeAdvisor. We have been in touch on two separate occasions which is when we did your exterior and then when you called in back in August about your Chimney. We did your exterior back in February of 2020 this year which is when COVID hit and then everything was delayed. Our Project Manager did a final walk through with you and there were no issues and to our understanding you were happy with everything and you made your final payment. There was mention that you wanted us to fix a door that you painted that did not turn out well which were were unable to get to under the circumstances of COVID which was right when it hit. We have been trying to coordinate with you about your Chimney. We do have a starting rate for all jobs but we do offer our repeat customers service for most jobs big or small. Our Project Manager is making it a priority to get in touch with you so we can get your Chimney taken care of. We want to take care of you so that the sale of your home will go smoothly. "Michelle, we would like to thank you for leaving valuable feedback and we apologize for the experience detailed in your review. We strive to present top-notch customer service from the start. It is reviews such a yours that provides our company the ability to learn from situations like this to create a better customer experience in the future. When a customer issue arises we make it our priority to make it right. Prior to any job we start we discuss how the project will go. All details are listed in every estimate which is also our contract that every customer approves. We discuss details with every customer at the time of the estimate and the time we start the job when the estimate is approved. In our contract we state the jobsite management, materials used, warranty info, terms of payment and more. Prior to any project we always prep the area and make sure everything is covered and taped for protection and at the end of every job we do job site clean up. The Approx Length of job stated 2-5 days in your contract. Terms of payment 20% down, balance upon completion and we always state in the contract 3% fee on all cc payments which you will see all the details toward the end of your contract. Upon completion of every job we schedule a final walk through when the customer is available and this is the time we go over any issues. When we realized there was an issue with your project we made it a point to make it right and fix any issues right away. Here at Next Door Painting we provide Project Managers and Crews and on every crew we also have a crew chief to manage any job when our Project Manager is not available to be on site. All of our employees work directly for us we do not sub out any work. Addressing your concerns we worked as a team to try and make it right with you, even having the Owner himself reach out to you. We have been in business since 2001, we are insured, we do not sub any work out and we are with every customer from start to finish.We want to make everyone happy and that is our goal for complete satisfaction in the end. Unfortunately sometimes it does not go that way."
