I wanted to hire licensed plumbers for this job but that did not assure high quality work. They head plumber, Damian, had the schedule 40, pvc water lines pressure tested within a few minutes of the installation. I was on site at the time and explicitly commented: "Isn't the glue supposed to cure for a couple of hours before testing?" I know that the manufacturer's guidelines call for more than a few minutes of curing. He brushed me off, "Aw no, this stuff dries immediately." Two of the couplers failed on the spot.
Rather than stopping the job, I let him finish the work. It held up for about 8 months before several couplers started failing. I have now had three of the couplers rupture that were installed by Myers. I have not called them to fix any of the work because I have a pretty firm policy of not letting incompetent workers continue to fix their own mistakes unless it was something that could happen to anyone.

I have used Myers Plumbing for many years to do all my plumbing work. There was a service man here in the spring to fix the toilet, a leaky faucet and everything was done perfectly. The company has excellent customer service people who know a lot about plumbing work. I will trust all my plumbing needs to Myers, as they are very reasonable in there prices.
