 + -1 moreMark Gunning looked at the problem door, and recommended the addition of a storm door. He looked at them in the store and advised me about what to get. I purchased the door and he picked it up and installed it. He explained everything, always kept me informed, was very punctual, and did a great job!
Description of Work: I needed a door repaired so that water wouldn't come in when it rained.

 + -1 moreMr. Gunning was great. He was always there when he said he would be and did a fantastic. He also gave us some great ideas on some of the things we were thinking about doing. He is very careful when doing a project and takes the time to think everything through. We liked his professionalism, and we will definitely be hiring him again for some of the other projects we have. We were very impressed with his work.
Description of Work: We were completely remodeling the interior of the house we recently purchased. We hired Mr. Gunning to do replace our old windows, install a new shower, replace interior doors, replace a sliding door along with the wall it was attached to, knock down a load bearing wall between the kitchen and living room, put up an exposed wood beam in place of the wall, install a tankless water heater, install a vanity and faucet, and fix trim on the exterior of the house. There are probably some other things I'm forgetting.

He's timely was as promised and he did a wonderful job on completing each of the tasks! We already have a few additional jobs for him in the coming months. Even if he wasn't interested in the project or couldn't accomodate my schedule a simple "I'm sorry I can't assist" would have sufficed. I am rating this as "D" and not "F" because there may have been extinuating circumstances I am not aware of.

 + -1 moreWas prompt and courteous throughout. When I didn't have the right item to repair the ceiling fan or the toilet, he went to Home Depot to purchase it. He installed shelves in my mother's room and fixed the flapper valve for the toilet. The approximate cost of labor, purchases and tip was $80.00. I plan to schedule other projects and highly recommend Mr. Gunning. Please check-out his web site if you have any questions about the numerous services he performs.
