Mr Fix It

Nice guy, did a bunch of prep work which is good, did a good job on the wall texture. Put up plastic all over the bathroom as to not get it all over, but the week after I found texture splatters all over the place. Small areas but all over, my water pick and electric toothbrush, the mirror, the glass door to the shower, floor. These were not that noticeable till I started cleaning and realized what it was. He also cleaned his equipment next to the Air Conditioners out side unit. There are big specks of texture all over it, which might not have been a big issue but the unit was two weeks old and I didn’t see it till it was dried in the sun for a few days so had to clean it with a bush not just hose it off. Only other complaint would be he doesn’t work Saturdays, which is fine but I didn’t know till he was half threw and had to wait till Monday to finish.

He was really efficient. He wore shoe covers (which I really appreciated) and did a very complete and clean job. I was very happy with him.

He istened to my concerns on phone, made an initial trip to see the issue and listened to my concerns again, identified needs, made recommendations, etc. Provided his cost estimate. It went very well. Mr. Cook was  punctual,did exactly what he promised to do and did a very good job. He was  pleasant and professional. He also helped me decide exactly how it would be best to place the shelves.  I had to leave the house while he was here and I felt very comfortable doing so. I will call him again and would recommend him highly to any of my friends.

I have been using John for quite some time now and a review is long overdue. He has worked on several of our houses and is our go-to handyman. He has recently become a regular at my parents house. John is honest, always on time, and his prices are very reasonable. His estimates are also on point so there are rarely any additional charges. John's work is high quality so I never have to supervise him or worry about mistakes or poor quality. Our new house needed several minor repairs / upgrades. As always, it went great - he finished on time and within budget. John also looks out for his customers. Other contractors worked on the house simultaneously and John noticed some of their mistakes and discreetly pointed them out to me. Furthermore, instead of just doing whatever I ask and taking my money, if it is not too complex, he will explain how I can do it myself and save money. I trust and highly recommend John! He is also really good with my annoying pets!

John arrived on time.  Price was reasonable. I left for appointment and mailboxes were installed when I arrived back home. He left area clean.

Mr. Cook was prompt, polite and efficient.  He brought all of his tools and assembled a pre-fab cabinet in less than an hour.  He did a very professional job and did not make a mess.  The cabinet looked great!  He cleaned up the area and disposed of all of the packing materials.  I would definitely hire him again in the future.

I contacted Mr.Cook on July 7th and he came out and we went over all the repairs that were needed.  Within a day or so he emailed me the estimate of the work and said he could schedule the work to begin on July 28th.  That day was not convenient for me so, he changed the start day to July 29th.  He purchased all the materials needed except for the faucet.  As he progressed with the repairs, there were more items that needed to be purchased and a couple of added repairs.  In the end, he did not change the original estimate of $1,180.  Mr. Cook was very courteous, professional and obviously takes great care in doing quality work. I would highly recommend him and would hire him again in the future.

Mr Cook is very professional, very timely and very thorough and careful in all his work. Everything was done promptly and well. None of his work will need to be corrected at a later date. And it is all attractive!

He was excellent; the quality of service was exceptionable. The price was very reasonable and I gave him a $10 tip; I thought he was just a gentleman.

Mr.Fix It was excellent. He came out measured the garage door and arranged to pick up replacement door from Home Depot, transport and install. He did an Excellent job! Very professional and very prompt. He was very respectful of home owners property. He keeps the work area clean and picked up. I recommend anyone to use Mr.Fix It (John) for any small jobs around their home!

I have used John many times on my rental properties.  He does great work, is professional, sends me an estimate through email, then schedules and performs the work. He does a little bit of everything.  He is polite, responsive and is very reasonable.  I appreciate having someone I can call when I need help. I would definitely recommend him to others.
