We had a minor mess...because we are old. Ernesto was here about an hour and made the adjustments, set some settings on the new TV.and told us why the other TV worked the way it did. I was super pleased. We will hire him again and will pass his information onto others who need the technical help. We have never seen anyone with as many ratings as he has and all being positive..very unusual..after his visit, I can see why.

Ernesto is respectful and knows what he’s doing. The work was done efficiently. He even took the time to shop for a piece that I needed to properly hang one of the TV’s he hung. He’s installed brackets and hung a total of 5 TV’s in our home on 2 separate occasions.

Ernesto did an amazing job installing and setting up my equipment. He was quick to provide a reasonable estimate and was able to fit me into his schedule on a timeframe that worked for me. He was very professional the entire time and did a high quality job. He made sure to lay down plastic to cover our carpets while he worked and continuously vacuumed after himself while working. They needed to remove my mantle to run the cables and had to take out grout from the fireplace to run our wires. He took special care of the mantle, put everything back perfectly and re-grouted even better than it was before. He installed a Sonos system (sound bar, subwoofer and 2 in-wall satellite speakers) and it sounds great! He setup a Logitech universal remote to control everything and took the time to make sure everything was properly configured and that we knew how to use it. If you want high quality work and an excellent home audio/video setup, definitely call Mimi's to do the work for you. A++ recommendation.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor. Ernesto knew exactly how to fix my problems. He moved components around in the entertainment center so they made sense and every single wire is hidden, including the ugly cable that TWC left coiled up on my floor. He hooked up Alexa and connected the Dot to the new radio/CD player. Then, he tackled the printer that three other people could not make work. He was so patient and finally found a way to make it work, even though it was not compatible with my other equipment. Ernesto is a true professional. Knew exactly how to drill out a square in limestone, install electrical box, run wires behind the limestone and drywall and connect to receiver. He works clean, got the job done in just under four hours and is a really pleasant person to talk with while the work was being done. Very happy with the whole process from initial email and phone call onward. Came on time, and final price just as agreed after estimate.

Mr. Crosby showed up on time on April 19, thoroughly explained the work that we had agreed on over the phone/internet, and spent the entire day, into the late evening, installing my system. Later, I purchased a ROKU 4 system and he came out a second day to install it. His work was meticulous. The wiring was very complicated and involved routing through an external wall. As you can see in the pictures I provided, he did so in a very neat manner. The result is a system with a fantastic TV picture and very clear sound that I easily hear. I am hard of hearing and refuse to wear hearing aids. Even so, the SoundTouch home theater system that Mr. Crosby recommended and installed is perfect in that it is a relatively simple system and meets my needs. Overall, I am very impressed with Mimi's Audio/Video and intend to do use them for all my audio/video needs. Description of work: 1. Installed 65" flat panel 4K TV on a swing mount above fire place. (Owner provided TV.) 2. Provided and installed Bose SoundTouch 130 home theater system. 3. Installed ROKU 4 Ultra HD video streaming system. (Owner provided ROKU.) 4. Provided and installed Blu-Ray DVD player. 5. Integrated all systems with a DirecTV satellite system and wired them so that all receivers fit on a family room end table. 6. Provided and programmed a Harmony Elite remote that operates all systems including the owners iTunes music system.

Ernesto and I traded a few e-mails about what I wanted to do and what his recommendations were.  He recommended some awesome products and I liked his plan.  He was able to fit me into his schedule within a week or so.  He arrived on time and got to work immediately installing the televisions.  After a few hours, all the installation was completed and the new systems look and sound great.  He did a fantastic job and I will definitely go with MiMi's in the future.

We had recently moved into this house and I was trying to figure out how to run my surround sound system. I called Mimi's for assistance. Because of the odd vaulted ceilings, they stated that it would make more sense to go to a sound bar, which I did. I also wanted speakers outside on the deck, but the suggested a wireless outdoor speaker that is working perfectly. They were punctual, professional, and clean-up the house after all the work was done.

Installation first was trial and error to determine the best location and possibility of receiving free Broadcast TV. Then the installer, Ernesto, installed a splitter and a booster to cover all three TVs.
Then all TV's ran through the auto tune and to confirm all channels.  It was a long 3 hour installation to run coax cable to all the locations in the house.

I knew this job was beyond my expertise, so I called Ernesto and hoped he could handle it.  After discussing the project with Ernesto, I could tell he knew what he was doing. The project involved installing a large flat screen TV on a stone wall above a fireplace, and installing the audio equipment in an adjacent room.  It also involved installing in-wall surround speakers and a Sub woofer.  Ernesto's proposal included nice equipment and included options for more expensive or less expensive equipment; depending on what I wanted. Ernesto installed the items as discussed.  The final product was awesome!  Ernesto and his assistant made sure their work was very neat and clean.  This was a big concern and they passed with flying colors.  I have already asked for estimates on other AV issues.  I highly recommend Mimi's.

First, let me say I looked for a person like Ernie at all the usual places (Best Buy, Bjorns, etc) and wasn't able to find someone who made me feel comfortable hanging a large TV over the fireplace and provide ideas for my cords and hardware. I found Ernie's company on Angie's List and his raving reviews made me comfortable to call and set up an appt. Ernie had a little longer than usual scheduling window, but I know why now. He kept in constant contact all the way up until our appt. Once he started it didn't take him long to figure out how he was going to set it all up. It took him about 3 hrs to run all the cords to a nearby closet, drill in the stone to hang bracket, and hang TV.
I was expecting a big mess with drilling into the stone, but Ernie was very meticulous and clean. Even vacuuming after he was done. After all said and done I was extremely happy with his work and professionalism. He takes pride in his work and will be my go to AV guy for all future projects.

This is an on-time and conscientious audio/video specialist, who did a great job for us.  We moved a panasonic and a 70" Sony wall-mounted TVs from a 2-story house to a 1-story house.  He came out and carefully deinstalled the 2 TVs.  Instead of trying to handle TVs by himself, I like that he brought a helper to assist him with handling weight.  I really liked that Ernesto packaged the TVs in some move boxes I had, and organized and packed the accessories and components for a really easy move.  While working, he pointed out some best practices and improvements he would make over the previous installation.  At the new place, Ernesto was, again, on time and went right to work, with a helper.  He showed me things and had ideas, but also took into account our preferences.  He also helped with some extras without overcharging us... he deinstalled a previous satellite dish and then fine adjusted our digital antenna, to ensure that itpicked up stations that we liked.
