MILLER CUSTOM GARAGES

Found Miller Custom Garages on Angie's List.  After calling several providers selected Miller Custom Garages based on the gentlemen who provide the services (Richard Miller and Alan) - we simply felt that they would do the best job.

Alan advised us every step of the way as to what was going to transpire.  They arranged for a number of cedars to be taken down, the driveway to be set in place (all in conformance with the guidelines as requested by Kendall County), and had the gravel delivered and compacted.  Additionally they arranged for the concrete to be poured. 

The garage was built with a great deal of care and diligence.  I personally watched as they measured, leveled, and built our new garage.  Alan was on site at all times both working and supervising the workers.  He was most explicit about what he wanted done.  

The garage was completed much faster than anticipated and it looks great.   They even painted the little vent for me just as I wanted.

All in all, we put ourselves in their hands and they did all the rest.

Would I recommend them to other - ABSOLUTELY YES.

From the initial contact with the company, to Alan's first visit, and to the last day Alan and Rick were there, these folks were a pleasure to deal with.  We couldn't have asked for a better experience.  We highly recommend them if you're looking to build a shed or shop!

After getting quotes from a few other companies I decided on Miller Millworks due to reviews on Angie's List and because I liked the people at Miller's.  
One of my biggest concerns was the slab.  A subcontractor named L.Aguilar Concrete Services poured the slab and it was formed and poured perfectly.
Alan and Rick then built the shed in two days.  One of the reviews said that nobody else uses materials like Miller uses and I believe him now.  This shed is a quality structure, I think it will probably last longer than my house.  Communication was perfect, attention to detail shows, the clean-up was very good.  
They may not be the cheapest but what you get is definitely worth the money.  This is the second shed I have had built and this one was far superior to the first.

Absoutley best quality materials and construction. Fast and efficient work. Incorporated all of the changes and options that I wanted.  Showed up on time.  Workers were very considerate and cleaned up after finishing the job.  I have already recommended them to several coworkers. Finished price was exactly as quoted.  If you shop arround as I did, compare standard features vs other builders you will see that the price and quality is the best deal around.

It went great. Found the company from a reference who had work done by them. Design was excellent. Miller Custom Garages built a solid foundation and building from start to finish. Beautiful and expert foundation concrete work, excellent framing and electrical plus excellent garage door and opener installation. Windows and doors are straight and plumb.
Super nice roof job and exterior paint job. Nothing was sloppy at all. His workers were all very courteous, worked hard and cleaned up the site everyday. Most everything (99%) went as scheduled (fewer than normal delays for this type of project) and job was completed in time window estimated. Good job on post construction clean-up debris. Details and information exchanged with owner and his workers as needed--very good communications on progress, materials, details. Owner always responded to questions. Quality and workmanship, pro--top notch. I would hire them again and recommend them highly to anyone else.

Everything was great except the concrete stuff contractor did a poor job on the drive way, not the Miller guy but one of their sub contractors.

It was the best price I could find and they did a great job. They were very professional and they got the job very quickly, faster than anyone else said they could get it done.

I would highly recommend this company! Mr. Miller was absolutely totally professional. Beforehand he gave us a very professional sketch of what the building would like like. He provider dimensions and time lines for the job. All of his contractors showed up on time. The subcontractors all did great work. He followed up on everything in a timely manner. If we have another building project I will absolutely use him! The final project is just absolutely beautiful. It blends in with the house wonderfully. His dollar estimate was very accurate.

A great experience. Every concern that we had was addressed. They managed to fit the shop in a tight space without cutting down any trees. Their crews were polite and great craftsmen! The plans were great in detail and the work went smoothly. Millers made it a point to come out to the job sight and made sure we were happy. We would very much recommend them and use them again.

I was happy for the most part with everything they had done. I had a problem with one thing on the roof and when I called to report it and have them come out and fix it, they seemed to be reluctant. I felt the owner was fine toward me until I found something he needed to correct on his work. I just don't think that I will be using them again.
