Mike Egger's Moving Company

Perfectly! We selected Mike Egger for three reasons. First, our real estate agent uses him with many of her clients (with nary a complaint). Second, told us that he worked with antiques for years before he got into the moving business, so knows how to pack things so they don't break. And third, his bid was very competitive. One company told us it would take 4-5 days to pack and store our things, but Mike bid a 2-day job, and that is exactly how long it took him and his crew of three. The first day they laid a packing blanket from the front door threshold into the living room, and continued to take care not to scratch walls or drop things. They packed so many boxes I lost count, and filled a 10x30 storage space from top to bottom. I monitored their progress each day, and found their professionalism was impeccable. Mike told me that he has been moving folks for 30 years, and one his crew members (Jimmy) has been with him 25 years, Roady has been with him for 15 years, and I think Grant has been with him for 10 years. I highly doubt any other moving company can match or meet that kind of low turnover! Their team works like a machine, but each of them couldn't be more friendly. When we sell our home, they will return to pack the rest of our things, empty the storage space, and move us to the Houston area. (Mike told me that he has moved families to every state in the lower 48 except Maine.) I strongly recommend that you meet Mike and get a bid before you make a final decision.
