MICHAEL EDWARDS CUSTOM CABINETRY

We had a few design glitches along the way, but the finished product was exactly what we wanted. The cabinets are beautiful and well made.

Mike came out on a Saturday and sat with me as I told him what I had in my head for the project.  It was a custom job and something very unique.  He spent several hours with me and drew up a 3-D rendering on the spot of some ideas.   I was very impressed and he came back out another time to finalize measurements and details.   The woodwork is incredible and the installation was perfect.   Far exceeded my expectations.

The craftsmanship was excellent. However, I had specified that I wanted the frame to stay as rustic as possible. When I got the frame back it was very well-finished and wood was sanded smooth. You could not tell the wood was over 100 years old. The company's professionalism was excellent. I did have to wait an extra two weeks because the craftsman doing the work went on leave which I was informed ahead of time about.

The cabinets came out awesome. I priced several cabinet makers and I think their prices were actually the lowest of all the bids that I got. I love the cabinets and I love every bit of them, but the sales person that we had to deal with was not very smart. Their product is really well done and their finishes are very well done on the cabinets. The only problem that we had was that half of our order came out either the wrong size or the wrong color. They had to send half of it back and remake it so we had a delay. We weren't very happy about that. Michael Edwards, which is actually not his last name but his middle name, came out to the job and he was very apologetic and he worked extremely well with us so we were very happy at the end. He took it upon himself to make sure that everything was done correctly the second time around. We already had a talk with Michael Edwards about his salesperson named Brian.

The cabinets are beautiful! They are all very well made using 3/4and quot; plywood. The drawers are a dove tail construction with soft close hinges and under drawer guides. I chose a clear alder wood with a mission oak stain. They also installed handles on all the drawers and doors. I had Michael Edwards do my Kitchen cabinets last year so I had been pleased with their workmanship and knew I could trust them to do a superior job.

Excellent quality work - did have a little issue with the kitchen vent pricing/design not being exactly what we really wanted. Looks good - no issue there, they didn't quite get the input from use we needed. Overall quality is excellent. These guys know what they are doing. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

they were done on time, not cheap cost wise... job was very very nice. some issues with install, but they were 3rd party installers. some issues with little things here and there. They have been back many times during construction but they are always willing to make it right! Mike is a very principled man and wants everyone to be happy with his product! He is also available to discuss issues directly as well which is great!
I think right now the growth of this company is causing some and quot;growing painsand quot; but I would still recommend them in a heart beat because of Mike and his crew and there willingness to never stop until your happy!

The process went extremely well. Michael and his team are true artists. Amazing quality and attention to the finest details. The end product speaks for itself. I absolutely LOVE the self closing drawers!

They were just great to work with. They are not the cheapest out there I'm sure, but the quality is unbeatable.

It exceeded my expectations. When I think of the other companies I contacted, I'm so glad that I kept calling until I found Michael Edwards.

Our cabinets are absolutely beautiful! The quality is fantastic, and we paid only a couple of thousand more than if we had bought stock cabinets from a store. Fidel (the painter) worked with us to select a color and did a great job on our stain. The cabinet installers (Nick and ?) were also outstanding and did a great job installing our cabinets. Our sales person was professional, personable, and prompt prior to the installation of our cabinets. We did have a couple of 'glitches.' Our kitchen island was 6 inches shorter than requested, our powder room cabinet we selected required some relocation of pipes which we incurred extra cost from (would have been helpful to have been made aware of that), and one of our custom inserts for a cabinet was forgotten. The issues would not have been much of a problem if they had 'owned' the oversights, but the owner was argumentative with my husband when he voiced his concerns. Most of this could have been avoided if the sales person had written down some of the items we verbally agreed upon. We did sign-off on a blueprint of the cabinets, but it's difficult to understand blueprints when you aren't accustomed to looking at them (next time we'll be more careful and ask to take them home to review). In any case, we would absolutely use them again because the end-product is so beautiful; however, we'd be more careful to ascertain that what we'd requested was written down by both us and the salesperson.
