They were wonderful. They sent two people out here. They just tried to clean everything. I had a limited range of things I needed cleaned, but they were just cleaning like crazy. One of them didn't speak any English. One of them spoke some English and that along with my Spanish was enough. They were just wonderful people. If I could have had them come regularly I would, but I couldn't afford that. They are a little pricey, but they send two people at once. So maybe that is why it seems to be more expensive than just a regular maid. They bring all of their own everything. All of their own cleaning supplies and tools. I was ready to supply everything I wanted used in the house, but they bring all of their own stuff. I don't know about the cost. It was kind of high, but there is two at once and they provide everything, so I guess it is fair. I would've been happier had it have been a little less. They send out two because they are looking for volume. They want to get it done quick, quick, quick and get on to the next one. I was very comfortable with them. They cleaned thoroughly. They didn't break anything. They were anxious to please me. I would use them again if I could afford it.

They're very fast, and they do clean and dust as they advertised. Once, only once, I complained about my floors and they pay special attention now. My house is full of nick nacks so every once in a while something gets broken, but they let me know right away. No damages are hidden. If I want something left alone, they respect that.

The thing that stood out the most was inconsistency. Even though they said that all of their cleaners were trained the same way, I had it where I had different services and a couple of times it wasn't like the same people every time. So, the cleaning wasn't the same every time and I actually had to have them come out and do like a rework a couple of times and then, one time, I actually had to literally take the scrubber, clean my own tub because they said they couldn't clean my tub and then, I'm cleaning my tub showing them that it's going to get cleaned if you just put a little elbow into it. So, that sort of frustrated me. I was like, "Okay, I'm paying you $152 to clean my house, yet I'm here cleaning my tub. I don't understand." So, it was inconsistent. I sort of think that they're a little overpriced based on what they do because I actually used another cleaning service and got basically the same level of cleaning for a lesser price. They sort of force you to do a contract with them where the other cleaning service did not. They were coming out every two weeks. Some of them were really good and some of them weren't really good. It was more inconsistent on the bad side than it was inconsistent on the good side.

I clicked on the $99 Deal but there was nothing you could get for $99. It was $150, plus a 4 months signup or you had to pay a $69 penalty and that is only for the downstairs. If you do upstairs, it is another $89. I thought the $99 Deal was a one time Deal for the whole house, so to me that is a bait and switch.  So I paid $150 with a 4 months commitment. Anytime I want them to do anything, "Well that's $20 more". Each visit was supposed to include cleaning the stove, they never cleaned the stove. They were supposed to clean the baseboards every time, they didn't. They were supposed to be washing down the woodwork, they haven't done any of those special things. They are only here 2 hours for $150. I had been paying $35 or $45 when I had a maid before but she retired. I thought $150 was outrageous.

Terrible.  They didn't clean my house my floors were always dirty.  I would come home and the house would be filthy.

WOW! Kudos to Jolene and Alma. I will definately ask for this team next time I use Merry Maids. They are incredible. They worked very well together and were efficient. My bathtub was terrible and although I have had house cleaners before, no one cleaned my tub as well as Jolene. It was a personal challenge to her I believe. At any rate, her elbow grease worked and it is shining.

Two women were supposed to come and clean the house. Only one showed up, but she did a great cleaning job. The cost was lower then the quote since only one cleaner came.

Merry Maids did a good job. Their services were good. I am not sure if I would use them again, because it was a bit more expensive than what I would want to pay every time.

They came to clean our apartment. They are so good! From the very first moment, they didn't need any additional directions- the just did it! Everything they did was excellent. It was so clean! We used them this time for moving out and they left the apartment beautiful!

They do an excellent job.

They do a very good job and arrive on time. They are very thorough and professional. They spend about an hour cleaning and provide me with a senior rate.

They come out and have been accommodating to my wife's needs and wants as far as scheduling goes. If there is something that is not done to our satisfaction they correct it. I do like that we have the same people come out all the time. I like the punctuality and the way they do business. They were very polite.

We were not all that happy with them so we had to let them go after several months. They did not clean the wood floors like my wife instructed them to; they did not get the spots off them so we had to go back and clean it ourselves; they did it a couple of times so we decided to do without them. They were typically there for 3 or 4 hours and I will use them again in the future.

I like dealing with a company instead of an individual. They don't clean my floors properly.

.I had a terrible experience with Merry Maids. This experience is why I joined angies list.I felt like i had been taken advantage of for what I already paid.

They are trustworthy, and do a great job. They do a better job than I could ever do. I would highly recommend them.

They are on Highway 10 going northwest of San Antonio, and they had to come all the way from there. There were three people that came, and they put in about an hour and a half. They did not do any deep cleaning - they cleaned what showed. They were average - not anything outstanding. I don’t think I would use them in the future.

I used them for some time and I felt like over time the quality of work diminished. They paid great attention to detail in the beginning. They do somethings some of the other home cleaning services won't do - for instance cleaning base boards. Some of the workers did not clean as well as the others.

The one thing that I did not like about them was that they never stayed the duration of their time. The work was not completed because they would leave before all the tasks were done and I was not happy with that at all. I think they could have made more of an effort in their work.
