Memito's Paint & Body

The staff of Memito's did an awesome job repainting our 1974 Play-mor travel trailer. Stella (the trailer) had gotten some hail dings that we knew weren't going to be repairable, but somehow they managed to make them less noticeable. This is not the first time we have used Memito's, and it certainly won't be the last. Cannot recommend highly enough!

They did an excellent job and car was ready at promised time. Would highly recommend. Manuel is very respectful, kind and considerate.

A friend backed into the passenger side headlight. The light didn't break, but the plastic covering it did. I researched and found that the whole unit would need to be replaced. I got suggestions from neighbors and chose Memito's to check first. I dealt with the owner, who called the Mazda parts place and got the price while I listened. He said it might take more than an hour but he would charge me only for an hour of labor. We arranged to have the work done later in the week. I brought in the car and it was done in about an hour. I was impressed with his openness and the quality of the work.

I did my homework and learned that the whole unit, including the light, had to be replaced. Several places were suggested by friends and neighbors but I liked the sound of Memito's. I went and the owner was very nice. He called the Mazda place while I listened and got the price. He told me it might take more than an hour but he would charge me for one hour of labor. We arranged to have it done later in the week. It took just under an hour, it was done well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. His openness impressed me.

Excellent work at reasonable price with very acceptable two day completion. Very happy. This shop does excellent work and does not try to inflate the work description and price to increase profits. Another shop quoted twice the price and said the work would take at least a week. Nice people to work with.

Found a few minor spots, but nothing major.

After a discussion we decided it was better to do the whole car paint job. I am very pleased with the work (it was a 3 coat paint on lexus 350 and we were a bit afraid that the results were not going to be up to par). I personally can't tell that this is not the original paint job. I plan to use Memito's again in the future.

My wife and I had about six scratches on our respective cars, and I had an ugly rip in the right rear fender, the result of a parking lot encounter with another car. Another (chain) body shop had given me an estimate of $1,400 to repair only my car, a 2013 Honda Accord. Rosie Rodriquez, jefe at Memito's, which I found on Angie's List of course, said the shop could do it for $780. The work was done perfectly and finished in less than the three days estimated.
 A few weeks later, we didn't get any other estimates for the scratches on my wife's 2013 Acura. That bill was $340. Once again, the work was done perfectly. And the paint on both cars, Rosie warned us, would be hard to match. Naaah ... a piece of cake for this classic body shop. We hope we don't need this kind of body work again, but  if we do we know who gets the business.   

Brought my 2012 BMW 328i with large dent in bumper and side panel.  Looked brand new!  Wonderful job!  Will use again.

My car looks perfect!  It was ready on time and for the price i was quoted.  The staff was so nice and professional.  They were the kind of people you wish you could do business with every day.   If only the rest of life went this smoothly!

Wife  was rear ended and we took the Expedition to Manual. He repaired all the damage with new parts and the paint was matched perfectly. Being an older Expedition was worried that the paint wouldn't match.
Note: This isn't the first time i used him - just the first review i filled out. He repaired my Black Silverado HD2500 after the whole drivers side quarter panel was hit by an large piece of construction equipment. When I received the truck back you would of thought he replaced the whole bed and painted the whole truck - it looked fantastic!
Now, unfortunately - I was hit by a buck at the deer lease on the same side that made a pretty good dent and put a hole from the antler in the quarter panel - will be using him to repair that damage and some small dents and paint the whole truck - five coats of base and five coats of clear - explained that I would be paying out of pocket - he made me a great deal. Will be dropping off this month.

They had it completed within a few business days.  The paint matched the factory paint and I'd give the paint job a grade of 99%.  The workers were friendly and helpful, and they even dug through miscellaneous parts to help me find a clip that had been missing long before I came to Memito's for a paint job.  The job has a 1 year warranty. 
The only minor complaint I could come up with is that none of the workers speak English, so any correspondense had to be done by calling the owners because they weren't around at drop off or pick up.
I am extremely happy with the service and would not hesitate to go back for any other auto painting needs.

Their work was awesome, they went over and above my expectations. The job was superb and they buffed the entire car to make sure everything matched. Their price never changed and they were several hundred under the competition. Their shop might not look to great but their work more than makes up for it. I will use them again and recommend them to all my friends.

They are number one. He is good. He has only about 3 employees, he knows what he is doing. If you have a tiny little thing to do, he will do it, if you want the whole car to be done, he will do it, and the price is also good. The car looked brand new, and it still does. We took it by to a couple of collision places, and they wanted to keep it for 2 or 3 weeks, and he got it out in a week, and charged half the price. He is a good guy. His wife does the money end of it, and any estimates they give you are stood by.

Very good experience from the beginning to the end. Manuel is very straightforward with what he will do. His price was very competitive (we had three other quotes), the job was done within the time frame he told us and we are very pleased with the results.
A great deal of weight was given by us to the good reviews we had found on Angie's list and we were not disappointed. While it is true that the place is somewhat messy, is also true that the end product was good, so don't feel intimidated by the mess. All his employees, specially Willy where polite, courteous and very helpful. The car was washed and clean when we picked it up and the only thing we did not get, was the cold and stale coffee that you may find in an upscale shop. However we had a smile on our face because of the savings. As you can see, we have only compliments. Many thanks to Manuel and his staff.

I am new to the San Antonio area and needed to repair my car after an accident that happened months before I moved here. I asked the few people I know here for a recommendation on where to get the work done with little success. Someone suggested that I try Angie's List so I joined up looked on Angie's list for reviews of local businesses. I had gotten a total of four estimates (three before moving here) before going to Memito's Paint and Body. The estimate I got from Memito's was by far the best price and based on the reviews from Angie's List I decided to go with them. I am extremely pleased with the job that they did on my car. It is not possible to see where the damage was and the paint match is flawless. My recommendation to anyone needing body work on an automobile is to go to Memito's and get an estimate, you will be doing yourself a great disfavor if you don't.

I liked Memito's Paint and Body a lot. They said when it would be done and they did it. They did a job that some others didn't want to do. My wife's car is a Saturn and because they have plastic doors the paint just peeled off. Other places either wanted to charge too much or not do it because they were afraid it woudn't go on but he did an excellent job. My Subaru, four days after I bought it I put a big scratch on the front. He fixed it and you can't even tell it's there. His prices were very good compared to collision centers and others.
