My husband purchased massages for me from Massage Envy. At the time I was given the gift, I didn't like that there isn't a card (like a punch card) to go with it....to keep track of what I had and hand't used. (evidently my instinct that not having one was going to make keeping track of this more harder was right). My understanding was that I had 6 massages. I didn't realize that it was 6 massages within 6 months and that if I didn't use all 6 massages within 6 months the money my husband paid for the unused massages was essentially wasted. It's too bad that they don't have a better system to keep you informed of your status and how many visits you have left that you're entitled too. or that they choose not to communicate that with you...it's all in their computer system....(I learned that just at the last visit). I'm pretty frustrated feeling like I wasted my husband's money. The massage therapist was great. The company itself should do a better job of letting you know how many visits you have left. Once the time period has expired you've lost your unused massages. Or... you can sign up again to give them more money...on a monthly basis...*****.to get what was already purchased for you back****??. Clearly part of this is poor communication between myself and my spouse. Part of it is also that the company only continues to make money if you keep "re enrolling" your "membership". So they're not really incentivized to keep you up to date on what you're losing out on. When I spoke with the girl at the front desk, all she did was bring the contract out to show me where my husband had initialed. I left quality and professionalism N/A. The quality and professionalism of the massages from the massage therapist was excellent. The quality of the consumer communication to from the company itself to me, and their response to me was horrible. Ironically, I walked back inside to see about buying a massage for my mother as a gift....upon being told I'd lost massages, and I'd have to pay money to get them back I decided I wasn't going to do that. This is the location I went to: 6484 N New Braunfels Alamo Heights, TX 78209. buyer beware.
