We've used Martin Bauml for the last 12 years. Sometimes for jobs I didn't know how to do and a lot of times for jobs I did think I knew how to do. So, with our new home I called them again. They hooked up all the fixtures after a granite install, fixed a pressure problem and bad pressure relieve valve at the meter and added an expansion tank to the water heater. Larry found or fabricated all the faucet and drain parts and spent about three days getting everything done. He explained the problems he noticed with the hot water tank and the water meter but didn't really need to. Bottom line is I trust Larry and the whole Bauml team to do the job right, to charge me a pro's price and to give me true value. If you're looking for an outfit that's good, priced fair and you don't have to watch or question then call these guys. They're the best.

They came when they said they would. Actually, they came one time when the water heater broke when I was out of town. The guy that mows my lawn let me know about it and I called them. They came out and took care of it while I was away. You just can't ask for better service than that.

It went great. I assumed we would have to replace the whole faucet from the old sink, but he was able to repair it. He was persistent in capping the gas line, even though some wordwork was in the way.

I scheduled an appointment a week prior. I'm a busy person and don't get many opportunities to be at home to let people in. I called a half hour after the plumber didn't show up and was told a mistake was made, that I'd have to reschedule. I really HATE being stood up. I think it's very unprofessional and rude to presume the customer has the time to be home all day every day for you to miss scheduled appointments and show up later. They were courteous and apologetic when I called to see what was up. Some may see this as not a big deal, but with plenty of other options, I will be moving on to another plumber.

I received a high water bill and contacted the plumber as I thought it was a leak in the commode. While the commode flapper did need to be replaced and the trickle leak stopped, the water meter still ran---the plumber located a large leak in the water softener. As the unit was 7 years old, the original company offered to repair it for $1500 or I could get a new one for $3300 and if I agreed on the spot, could get a $400 rebate. I got a second estimate for replacement from Martin Bauml for a new unit for $1500--installed within a few hours. In addition to radio adds on 103.7FM, I had gotten Martin Baumls name from the people at Heye air conditioning as being trustworthy and reputable---and that has been my experience.

Martin Bauml was recommended to us by a friend as a good, honest plumber. That is just what we have found him to be. He does what he says he is going to do, and he is fair. He is quite good, and we’ve never had a problem with his work.

Overall, it went great. They were very thorough, they have to come back with the city inspector, and kept the communication with us. They came back and did some checkups on the line.

We experienced a sudden, drastic, decrease in water pressure in our master bathroom shower. As DIYers, we checked for obvious reasons for decrease; i.e., limescale in shower nozzle, etc., and determined that shower line was blocked since pressure in rest of house was unaffected. Called Bauml Plumbing about 9:30am, explained problem, said it was non-emergency, but that I would be home in afternoon. The van arrived at 1:30pm. Paul tested the water pressure in the shower by turning it on. There was barely a trickle from the shower head. Removed the shower head fitting at the wall, unscrewed a coupler, cleaned up a lot of rusty corroded stuff inside the pipe in the wall, removed a large piece of debris from the pipe, flushed out the pipe, replaced the coupler with a shiny new one from his van, Teflon taped it all back together, reassembled the fixture, returned the removed parts to me, wiped up the rusty crud that fell in my clean shower, and turned on the WIDE OPEN UNOBSTRUCTED FREE-FLOWING HIGH-PRESSURE shower!
