The two technicians diagnosed the problem, dug to find the location of the short and repaired it. They were polite, professional and did a terrific job. I'll be using this company again.

They showed up on time. I told them it would be OK to mount the socket on the wallboard, but they figured out how to set it in flush, and did so. It looks nice and works perfectly. I then asked them if they could help with a poorly mounted wall socket in another room, and they fixed it so it is firmly mounted and looks fine where it was loose and looked crummy before. Very pleasant to work with.

I had used M&K Electric several weeks prior to this job to install timer switches on bathroom lights and fans. I had asked them to give me an estimate to install a 220VAC line to run some new equipment at my home. About one week later they gave me the estimate which I thought was very good. So I asked them to do the job. On the installation day they had one job prior to mine and called twice to let me know they were about 30 minutes behind schedule. They arrived at the new time and promptly went to work. It took about 2 hours to complete the job. That entailed running metal conduit from the main service box and then putting the electrical line in the wall to the new wall outlet.They showed me where the new circuit breaker was installed and which plug to put on my new equipment for the 220 VAC wall socket. All in all they were professional, courteous and worked quickly to complete the work. I couldn't be more pleased.

We are always leaving the house and leaving bathroom lights and exhaust fans on. I didn't think that was a good idea so I purchased 5 timer switches from Loews and called M & K Electric to come out and install them. I looked at installing them myself but there was such a tight fit in the switch boxes in the wall that I thought a professional could do it better. Well I sent an email to them through AngiesList and they called me a day or so later. We set a time for the work to be done and they arrived promptly at 0800 and started to work. It took them less than an hour to have the switches installed. I also had them look at some new wiring that I wanted done. All in all they were very professional, worked promptly and cleaned the work area of left over packaging boxes and cut wire ends. We are now happy campers and I won't worry about the bathroom lights and fans being left on all day while we are gone. I plan to use M & K Electric for any future work that I need done as they did an excellent job.

I called and left a message on a Saturday that I needed non-emergency help. On Monday morning they called and said they could be at my house in 45 minutes. They arrived, went to work and had my problem fixed within an hour or so. I was very pleased with all aspects of the service, professionalism and responsiveness. This is my third encounter with M & K Electric and won't be my last!

The outlet shorted out last Thursday while someone was operating a leaf blower that had been plugged into the outlet. Since I like to deal with smaller companies in an attempt to help them grow, I called two companies on Angie's List but didn't receive a response from either after waiting several days. Frustrated with the experience, I phoned M & K Electric on Tuesday. I received a call within two hours during which Karen suggested I check out a few things before a technician was dispatched. She wanted to insure that the problem wasn't something I could have eliminated by removing other plugs, rechecking the circuit breaker, etc. That alone I found a refreshing approach to problem-solving, particularly if I were to discover that it was a simple thing I could fix.
When that didn't solve the problem, Karen arranged for a technician to come by at 8 AM this morning (the next day). Greg and Matthew identified the offending equipment and replaced it in less than an hour. I could not have asked for better or more responsive service. I highly recommend M & K Electric for any electrical repairs.

They were excellent. They were very cost effective. I called several different people in this area to give me an estimate and they were charging too much just to put in simple light fixtures. These guys came in and they did the job and they were very cost effective and very professional. They were terrific.

All in an hour. Price is quite fair at $125/hour. I'm sure they stayed longer. Greg and Matthew were very nice and efficient despite all my questions slowing them down. I called and spoke to Karen yesterday, and due to a cancellation today, they were able to come out today. Great service from a small and friendly family business! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. I must say also that they definitely don't deserve the bad review posted earlier here on Angie's. Greg especially went out of his way to explain everything to me -- wiring, installing, how GFI works, the maze of circuit breaker panels, etc. Love that.

We prefer using licensed electricians to do anything involving electricity in our house. We are not DIYers and would probably be unhappy with our own results. I am sure installing light fixtures is not the meat of their business but we are grateful they answer the call. This is the second time we used their services and we will call them again in the future.

Mand K did a great job, start to finish. I called and they came out to give me an estimate that day. Work was started the following work day. We are very happy with their work and will use them again for other projects

The owner was miserable in personal attention. The cost was twice the amount it should have been according to 2 recent estimates and their advice cost me an additional expense. The electrician who performed the work was efficient and courteous. I will not use them again or recommend them in the future.

As a result of our conversation, it is my understanding that your primary dissatisfaction with us was the cost we charged for the work you requested. (as a result of two estimates you received after we had completed the work) As you know, when you called us, we came to your home within a few hours to give you a free estimate for the work you wanted done. By giving prospective customers a free estimate, it allows the customer to meet us, ask questions, eliminates a surprise when the bill comes and allows you to get other estimates. The comment you made regarding advice costing you an additional expense - sometimes additional expenses are incurred when a customer changes their mind about the height a fixture was hung. We make every effort to give the customer plenty of time to look at the height of the fixture when it is hung and make adjustments prior to us leaving. When asked, recommendations are made by us, but the final determination is made by the client. We take pride in our work and make every effort to leave a job well done as well as have a happy client. When our men left your home they felt that they had accomplished that."

One light fixture couldn't be installed in the intended area so they reboxed it. There was trouble on one of the light sensors on the outdoor fixture that was two stories up but they worked around the problem so both lights would be operational when they left. They were quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. Everything went well. We were pleased with the pricing.

The two electricians came and did an excellent job of systematically attacking all of the electrical issues. The quote was acceptable. However, in conversation, one of the electricians indicated that my cost would probably be lower because less work was done than quoted. So, when I got the invoice, I was rather dismayed because the invoice was the same as the quote. This isn't really a complaint but I really wish they hadn't gotten my hopes up for a lesser amount on the bill. Otherwise, they did a wonderful job.

Called late on a Tuesday, was told I'd get a call back the next day. Called the next morning to say they could be there same day after lunch. Two professional men showed up about 15 minutes earlier than quoted and completed all of the work in just under an hour. Cleaned everything up, were very polite. We'll have them back shortly for the next round of lighting installation.

. I manage residential rental houses and needed help with some electric issues at on of the properties. This was my first experience with this Electric company. Greg, the electrician and his partner came on time, were friendly and professional, and worked diligently to get the work done. They solved the electric issues. Karen answers the phone and makes calls. She is very friendly and helpful. This is my new go-to electric company. I've already hired the company for another job at another rent house. The work is in progress and going quite well.

A wonderful experience all around. Mike responded promptly to give an estimate after I told them I was on a tight time line (remodeling). His two workmen (Greg and Matthew) showed up promptly and were professional and courteous. They did a great job--started by prepping the area to limit debris and prevent damage to surfaces. Love that! They did a wonderful job on all the work involved and cleaned up after themselves. Would most definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

When I called M and K Elec. co to set appointment, I spoke with Karen. Karen was extremely helpful. As I explained to her that this is our first home and our first upgrade of light fixtures and ceiling fans. She gave me helpful hints before purchasing the ceiling fan that they were to install.
On the day of electrical work, the guys showed up right at 8am. I was impressed at their promptness. They were focused, worked quickly and extremely professional and polite.
I thought the price was very fair and I was happy to pay.
There is no question that I will call M and K Elec. co again for future projects. No question.

Mike or his wife Karen stayed in touch from the first contact despite weather delays. When there was a break in the weather, he and his crew came. I wasn't home but my wife was impressed with the professionalism displayed in their work.

The electricians were on site, on time! The work was done professionally and within an hour all the work was finished! This is a small company, and during our conversation with one of the electricians, I discovered this comany was the subcontractor who did the original wiring for the entire house when it was built in 1997 and did an outstanding job.
Not only were the electricians very polite, but, they offered advice on on other potential projects, as well as leaving the work areas spotless. The value of service, punctuality, and courteousness of the electricians rates a true and quot;A.and quot; This contractor will be called on again when electrical work is needed.

The owner and his wife came out the day before to inspect what I needed and to provide an estimate. He then showed up the next day right on time and completed the planned work PLUS changed out 2 breakers that I did not even know were bad. All of this and the work came out much less than the estimate that I was given, apparently because the circuits were able to be run in the walls easier than expected.
