It went extremely well. Daniel was in charge of the entire project. He is incredibly flexible, creative, thoughtful. The quality of the outcome is absolutely top notch. Daniel and his crew is proficient in many constructions trades, but for some things he works with a network of subcontractors that he trusts. He holds them to the same high standards that he holds his own crew. What I find most impressive is this: He takes personal responsibility for everyone he brings to your house. Just think about that for a moment: Can you put a price on trust? In the later stages of our renovation, Robert who now had more maturity and experience, started to play a bigger role. And from him we received the same level of attention to detail and professionalism as we did from Daniel. I would strongly recommend Daniel & Robert to anyone for any work: Whether you need just a light fixture installed or you want to rebuild an entire house, you will not find better people to work with. They are among the most trustworthy, competent, and professional people I have work with, not just in construction but in any line of work.

Daniel of Lucas Roofing did an excellent job of knowing what needed to be done structurally and meeting the building codes and in keeping the design quality high and the structure safe.



His bid for the work was very competitive and detailed.  Daniel was also honest about when he would be able to start our deck project considering it was in the middle of Seattle summer and everyone's doing their outside projects then.



There was a slight delay but once started, the work continued until completed. 



There were several key items that distinguished this contractor:



- contractor had their own scaffolding and plenty of it to insure all workers had safe access to the 2nd story deck

- contractor checked daily with the workers and with me on any issues - communication was very helpful

- contractor was honest with a high level of integrity related to changes and challenges

- contractor was willing to meet with the other contractors to make sure all went well



My husband and I were so happy with this work, that we asked them to do some additional unrelated roof repairs that also went very well.



We would hire this team again without a doubt!

They were always quick to fix little problems that arose. The owner Daniel is very professional and reasonable. It was a pleasure to work with them

This is the third time I used Lucas Roofing & Remodeling for a remodel job. The first time was to build a garage (about four years ago), the second was to resurface our roof and the third to build a new entrance to our house. For all three jobs I was very satisified with the quality of their work (including post-work clean-up and follow-up). Daniel (the owner) is thorough and worked with me to find the best (and cheapest) solution to the little problems that came up along the way.
